The
Segment Marketing Senior Advisor
will be responsible for delivering
integrated marketing plans that meet
segment financial goals, align with
vertical initiatives, and capitalize on
market trends and opportunities within
the segment/vertical. He/She will be
responsible for assessing market trends,
quantifying opportunities, and
developing programs to meet the growing
needs of the solution and segments.
The
Segment Marketing Senior Advisor will
drive overall segment marcom strategy,
including budget recommendations,
roadmap planning, recommendations on
content theme & vertical callouts as
related to segment business needs.
He/She will support sales training and
enablement; utilize 3rd party customer
data and direct customer interaction
information to provide feedback to the
product group and messaging team.

Segment Marketing Senior Advisor will perform

Own the
development and execution of the
go-to-market plans to support specific
segment growth initiatives
Drive and
execute an integrated marketing plan to
support the P&L
Develop
content and programs that achieve sales
demand through print and electronic
collateral, sales training, customer
research and customer briefings
Serve as
subject matter expert for specific
markets and vertical(s) on industry
trends, customer buying behavior, pain
points, competitors, and vertical market
opportunities
Drive
overall events strategy by
segment/vertical, including recommended
events, budget allocation, and proposed
themes
Drive
vertical solution strategy, including
opportunity analysis, marketing plan
development and execution
Track
marketing/sales efforts and drive
program results throughout quarter/year
Provide
sales team with marketing roadmaps and
training on key initiatives, industry
trends and partner solutions
Determine
most effective segment/vertical sales
tools and drives usage to maximize sales
productivity
Ensure
that sales and marketing teams
understand and are able to fully utilize
tools to enhance sales and marketing
activities
Work with
Corporate Communications team to
increase visibility, education and
awareness to key industry audiences
through use of press releases, case
studies, press briefings, featured
stories, speaking opportunities and
analyst briefings
Work with
merchandising and online teams to make
recommendations/decisions on Company
website content
Serve as
a technical authority within the
organization and with customers

6-8
years of relevant experience or
equivalent combination of education
and work experience
Strong ability to lead the creation,
execution and measurement of a
successful marketing campaign
Strong ability to communicate
clearly verbally and in written form
Strong knowledge and experience with
sales enablement
Strong ability to negotiate
co-marketing plans and budgets
Clear, concise communication style
(must provide writing samples) with
the ability to apply AP style and
other professional standards
Ability to grasp business and
technical concepts and apply them to
tasks and projects.
