The
Marketing Specialist - Media will
be responsible for creating, developing,
distributing and maintaining all aspects
of creative related to: communications,
brand and product presentations and
tools for advertising sales.

The
Marketing Specialist - Media
will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
Use
creative software and graphic design
skills to conceptualize, design and
create innovative, original and creative
packages and sales pieces and custom
presentations that promote key Company
Cable programming and other offerings,
crucial in enabling sales staff to
maximize sales. This includes assurance
that design/logo standards are met,
including color, usage, maintaining
consistent image for all Media materials
utilized by the Media staff, etc.
Develop,
create, distribute and maintain
electronic media kit and all related
collateral materials (sales, research,
mapping, market pieces, etc.).
Identify
and develop new original automation
processes and electronic infrastructure
Continually update creative pieces,
tools and resources to ensure accuracy
and timeliness for use by sales staff.
This includes searching, identifying and
implementing for updates and utilizing
design skills to update/adapt pieces as
needed
Conduct
regular trainings for sales staff,
educating them on tools and resources
available that are instrumental in
helping sales achieve budget goals
Serve in
a consultative role to sales managers
and account executives in marketing the
current cable and multi platform
advertising packages
Work
closely with Manager of Creative
Services Manager and MCS staff to
translate strategic direction, the
marketing of our sales products and
product development functions to
include: coop, non-traditional revenue,
using both internal and external
resources
May be
required to update internet and intranet
content by creating and adding new
presentation materials for use by sales
staff
Support
development and deployment of corporate
initiatives, including local
customization
Maintain
extensive electronic contact with sales
and support personnel, extensive contact
with management on a project basis,
occasional contact with vendors and
suppliers
Work with
sales support to ensure standards are
maintained and distribution needs are
met
Perform
any other duties as assigned by
Marketing Manager.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Marketing Specialist - Media Job
3+
years in electronic media
advertising sales, preferably cable,
and previous management experience
Ability to read and interpret
documents such as safety rules,
operating and maintenance
instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and
correspondence
Ability to speak effectively before
groups of customers or employees of
organization
Ability to apply common sense
understanding to carry out
instructions furnished in written,
oral, or diagram form
Ability to deal with problems
involving several concrete variables
in standardized situations
Strong working knowledge of MS
Office
HTML,Photoshop, Illustrator, In
Design, Flash and FrontPage
familiarity helpful
Demonstrated ability to coordinate
projects with multiple departments
and vendors
High
level of project planning,
development and implementation
Ability to organize workflow
Strong verbal, written and
interpersonal communication skills
and the ability to follow through on
multiple tasks
Willingness to travel
Knowledge of web page designs and
HTML for internet/intranet
development
Knowledge of banner advertisement
creation
Familiarity with Flash application
helpful
Knowledge of various multimedia,
graphics and web development
software helpful
Knowledge of banner advertising,
capturing/digitizing streaming
media, image editing/graphic design,
internet scripts and project
management
Strong working knowledge of PC
systems, software and peripheral
hardware
Ability to work independently on a
project basis and meet frequent
deadlines.
