Job Summary:
The
Marketing & Sales Representative -
Airborne Early Warning and Control will be
responsible for actively supporting and
reporting to the Surveillance and
Engagement, Airborne Early Warning and
Control (AEW&C).
He/She will provide Business Development
expertise to a multi-functional team.
He/She will drive and develop a
deep understanding of emerging customer
requirements in the market space;
expose customers to Company expertise in
products, services, and solutions; aid
customers with evolving their
requirements; help lead the company in
positioning for and capturing those
emerging requirements; and support the
perpetuation and expansion of existing
S&E franchise products, programs, and
services.
Ultimately, the Marketing & Sales
Representative - Airborne Early Warning
and Control will be responsible
for delivering ethically and with
integrity on one metric - addition to
backlog (Sales/Orders) for the S&E
Capability Group.

Description:
The
Marketing & Sales Representative
- Airborne Early Warning and Control will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
Support program managers and development
teams on mission requirements, mission
system and aircraft configuration, and
concepts of operations and logistics
Assist in selecting the supplier
base to support Company AEW&C
programs
Contribute
on matters related to programs of record
as well as growing the overall
Surveillance and Engagement Business
Unit
Develop and
execute the strategy, funding
requirements and action plans needed to
protect and grow the business
Lead and support the
development and management of products,
tools, and analysis for the sales team,
market development team, and others to
keep current business sold, shape new
markets, affect customer thinking and
actions regarding issues important to
Company, its products, and its campaigns
Create,
adjust, articulate and execute a
campaign plan as well as create
presentations, talk points and white
papers in support of that campaign
Manage, direct and edit the
creation of program, product, or issue
white papers and RFI/RFP responses
Perform
development and maintenance of
simulation tools
Perform
development of product
/ program promotional materials
Participate in customer events and
meet with sales team
Lead the identification of
potential markets and advocate the
benefits of Company products and services
with various external audiences and
customers.

Business
development skills,
training, and experience
commensurate with a Level 5 position
in the areas of customer engagement,
campaign management, business
analysis, marketing and sales, and
strategy development
Self starter, ability
to meet obligations and deadlines
without excessive supervision
Ability to travel approximately 1
week per month, more during campaign
surges
Ability to excel in a
dynamic environment and work on
multiple teams simultaneously
Experience/knowledge in OSD and/or USAF Acquisition, and
U.S. DoD Budgeting & POM processes
Recent experience on AWACS, JSTARS,
Rivet Joint, AOC or E2, P3 or Aegis
weapon systems relating to
operations, logistics, programming,
or other functional areas
Familiarity in the Pentagon,
Washington DC interagency, and
US/International Embassy environment
Experience in dealing with
domestic and international senior
military officers and industry
executives
Experience in
multi-national military and/or
business operations
Experience
with dealing with US and non-US
companies
Experience as a Capture
Team Leader or on a Capture Team
Demonstrated track record of rapidly
learning and developing customer
intimacy with the diverse
operational, command and acquisition
communities
Demonstrated ability
to synthesize and articulate
relevant aspects of technology and
engineering
Ability to relate
contracting, cost and business
consequences in order to advise the
customer on available alternatives
and their comparative strengths and
limitations
Ability to act as a
trusted advisor to program, customer
and integrated teams
Ability to
effectively and routinely interface
with a diverse and geographically
dispersed team
Ability to build
and leverage a close working
relationship with the Company
Government Relations office, Company
Field Offices and the AEW&C program
Team
Ability to function as a
dynamic and positive force in an
interdisciplinary team environment
to include working with program
managers, tech experts, engineers,
administrative and business process
owners, and system operators
Excellent communication skills in a
variety of media
Ability to
deftly use MS Office to develop
presentations, supporting materials,
and process controls
Ability to
interface with the media, general
public, specific customers, and
industry counterparts in private or
public settings
Flexibility to
adjust to varying roles ranging from
front-line customer and partner
facing events to analysis, support,
and administrative functions largely
internal to the S&E teams.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Marketing & Sales Representative -
Airborne Early Warning and Control Job
Technical bachelor's degree and
typically 14 or more years' related
work experience or a Master's degree
with typically 12 or more years' or
a PhD degree with typically 9 or
more years' related work experience
or an equivalent combination of
education and experience. A
technical degree is defined as any
four year degree, or greater, in a
mathematic, scientific or
information technology field of
study.
