Marketing Representative Outpatient Imaging Center Job Description

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Marketing Representative Outpatient Imaging Center will be responsible for Imaging Center resource to increase imaging volume and develop customer relationships representation for Outpatient Imaging Centers within defined market. He/She will improve process and provide communication, ultimately enhancing quality outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Job Description:

The Marketing Representative Outpatient Imaging Center will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Meet volume growth objective by increasing imaging referrals

  • Identify, plan, develop and execute assignment sales strategies and programs that build procedure volumes

  • Develop, establish, and maintain positive relationships with assigned physicians and their office staffs

  • Prepare reports and recommend "next step" actions to facilitate prompt and thorough follow-through with physicians and their office staffs

  • Function as a collaborative team member in the imaging center to provide process improvement feedback from physicians and their office staffs

  • Provide competitive intelligence and market analysis to the Company Imaging Centers to help determine strengths and weaknesses for the center, as well as needs for physicians and their office staffs

  • Demonstrate professional consultative selling skills that relate to the customer in a problem-solving, collaborative way to build relationships for sustained growth

  • Enhance sales efforts by fostering a high level of communication and shared information with teammates

  • Develop and implement a business plan to achieve sales goals and objectives

  • Track and analyze territory progress toward sales goals and objectives

  • Develop innovative strategies and tactics within system guidelines to meet sales goals

  • Manage implementation of core sales strategy for each promoted product to create revenue

  • Leverage resources and monitor business in all market segments for maximum sales impact

  • Communicate issues and opportunities including possible solutions concerning business conditions

  • Practice and adhere to the "Code of Conduct" philosophy and "Mission and Value Statement"

  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Marketing Representative Outpatient Imaging Center Job

  • Key effectiveness in getting ideas accepted, guiding others toward task accomplishments and actively influencing events

  • Effectiveness in determining the source of the problem, seeking and using pertinent data, and reaching a logical solution. Emphasis should include both long and short-term impact

  • Effectiveness in directly confronting problems, readily taking action, making decisions, rendering judgments, and modifying decisions when appropriate

  • Effectiveness in establishing systematic approaches to tasks and in coordinating the timely completion of activities

  • Effectiveness in listening to others, reacting to their needs and concerns in a tactful and understanding manner, and perceiving one's impact on others

  • Effectiveness in maintaining stable performance when dealing with stress and pressure

  • Key effectiveness in presenting and expressing ideas in a clear, concise, and grammatically correct manner in speaking and writing

  • Ability to understand business commerce and how it impacts the healthcare industry

  • Ability to self-direct over a broad contact base , i.e., 100 doctors plus geographic area

  • Demonstrated teamwork

  • High organization skills

  • Ability to focus on trends and patterns of behaviors and activities to solve complex problem situations. Conceptual problem solving goes beyond analytical problem solving, in that there is a stronger emphasis on long-term impact

  • Ability to confer and discuss a difficult situation in order to reach a mutually satisfactory agreement

  • Ability to establish and maintain customer relationships with health care professionals at many levels

  • Three plus years' sales experience within healthcare, preferably imaging, pharmaceutical or equipment sales

  • Knowledge of sales strategies

  • Two to three years of consultative medical-related sales with specific responsibility for direct physician sales

  • PC skills - demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Marketing Representative Outpatient Imaging Center Job

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited university preferred.
