Manager Web Marketing Properties Job Description

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Manager Web Marketing will be responsible for managing a team responsible for designing the web customer experience across Company websites, and official social sites (referred to as the web ecosystem). The experience design is based on customer need states and is optimized to meet these needs across each stage of the customer lifecycle throughout the web ecosystem. Primary drivers of the experience design are marketing campaigns and complex projects.

The Manager Web Marketing will also be responsible for driving improvements to the overall web experience through day-to-day updates and short/long term site enhancements. He/She will partner within the Web Strategy Team, external agencies, and internal stakeholders while supporting cross functional initiatives.

Job Description:

The Manager Web Marketing will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Manage and provide leadership, mentoring, coaching and career development planning for team members ensuring productivity is maximized and quality is delivered

  • Design and manage customer experience across the web ecosystem while being held accountable for results

  • Evaluate agency and vendor recommendations on how to enhance customer web experience and develop strategies and tactics accordingly

  • Work closely with senior leadership to develop customer experience roadmap and prioritize features and project based on resources and ROI impact

  • Lead and drive key high-impact initiatives assigned by senior leadership and act as the product evangelist to build awareness, understanding and support of the web ecosystem and its features cross-organizationally

  • Manage large-scale innovative web strategy, oversee the development of business plans, roadmaps, and timelines to drive strategy through to adoption

  • Partner with internal functions to gain alignment, buy-in and influence them based on business needs

  • Manage external agencies, vendors and partners throughout the campaign or large-scale initiative

  • Represent Company on external Web Marketing, Sales, and Care functionality and enterprise projects /enhancements that impact website properties

  • Assess organizational readiness to support new campaigns, products, technologies, and act as Web Strategy team representative for deployments

  • Provide direction to agencies, vendors and 3rd parties

  • Develop campaign and site enhancement metrics and associated forecasts with direct reports

  • Ensure reports are run frequently to track actual against forecast

  • Work with direct reports to develop observations and make recommendations to senior leadership

  • Ensure execution of agreed upon recommendations

  • Conduct competitive and industry best-practice analysis, monitor web industry trends, and make recommendations that impact overall 2-3 year strategy/roadmap built by senior leadership

  • Provide mentoring and coaching to direct report Web Experience Design Managers in all aspects of Company's Web Experience Design methodologies and deliverables

  • Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.  

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Manager Web Marketing Job

  • 3 + years of successful team leadership measured by employee satisfaction, development and retention
  • 6 + years product management and experience design in consumer internet (web eCommerce or Self Service) business, working with agencies, UI designers, information architects, developers, QA and other cross functional groups to implement web customer experiences
  • 6 + years experience creating and writing effective program and creative briefs, business requirement documents, use cases, test cases, functional requirements and business cases for large Web specific projects (+ $2 million)
  • 6 + years driving/influencing Web Design (User Interface) & site architecture experience including business requirement document development
  • Proficient in brand and product engagement, e-commerce, web self-service, customer loyalty and cross sell technologies
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Visio
  • Ability to monitor business intelligence data and provide recommendations for website enhancements
  • Solid knowledge of online/Internet A/B testing concepts and execution
  • Solid knowledge of middle layer and back-end system integration
  • Working knowledge of HTML, XML, scripting, .NET, ASP and other current Web technologies.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Manager Web Marketing Job

  • Bachelor's Degree.
