Job Summary:
The
Manager Marketing and Funds
Administration will be primarily
responsible for managing and
coordinating all marketing, sales
support, and internal communication for
Investment Management and Funds Company.
He/She will also be responsible for
developing and implementing marketing
strategies which assist the business
lines in achieving their growth and
profit objectives.
The
Manager
Marketing and Funds Administration will
manage
the Company Marketing Specialist, and
Funds Administration Manager. He/She
will work with the Bank’s internal
marketing department, as well as outside
design and marketing firms. In addition,
He/She will oversee the overall business
management of the Bank’s mutual fund
family. Mutual Fund management
responsibilities include: service
provider oversight, revenue analysis,
fund administration, working with Fund
Counsel to manage all required legal and
regulatory filings, and managing the
production and updating of all marketing
materials including websites.
The
Manager Marketing and Funds
Administration
will will
also be responsible for preparing
budgets, analyzing mutual fund trends,
offering product recommendations, and
making product-pricing recommendations.
Job
Description:
The
Manager Marketing and Funds
Administration
will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Manage existing marketing materials,
including internal and external websites
and third party data base systems;
manages quarterly production of
pitchbooks, fund and strategy Fact
Sheets, and other performance reporting
pieces
-
Research, develop, write and edit
effective responses to Requests for
Proposals as well as the descriptive
content in third party database systems
used by external prospects
-
Research, develop, write and edit
effective product brochures and Finals
Presentations
-
Coordinate with internal marketing
department for layout, graphics and
printing
-
Research the external customers and
manage a marketing campaign (working
with the Bank’s internal marketing
department) to increase awareness, build
credibility and identify opportunities
for Company products and services
-
Research the communication needs of each
of Company internal business line
partners and develop and manage a
communication plan to meet those needs
-
Participate as a member of the Company
Product Priority Committee to identify
areas of product improvement, and
provide input and guidance regarding the
priority and design of new product
development
-
Manage and oversee the Fund
Administration Manager to ensure all
aspects of the administration of the
mutual funds is being managed
effectively
-
Manage all areas of risk associated with
the management of the mutual funds
-
Manage and provide oversight for the
service providers to the Fund family
including vendor assessment, market fee
analysis, and overseeing vendor search
and selection process

Negotiate contracts with vendors who
provide services for fund family:
administrative, accounting, legal, and
marketing.

Extensive knowledge of marketing
principals including product
management, development, and
positioning

Extensive knowledge of mutual fund
organization and distribution
systems

Advanced knowledge of various
securities, investment-related
products and services i.e. stocks,
bonds, and asset allocation programs

Excellent analytical and
organizational skills
-
Self-motivated/goal oriented
-
Ability to make effective pricing
recommendations in order to meet
revenue and profitability goals

Excellent interpersonal skills
including oral and written
communication skills, ability to
prepare and deliver persuasive oral
presentations

Excellent PC skills including
spreadsheet, word processing, and
presentations applications.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Manager Marketing and Funds
Administration Job
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a
related field and 7+ years
experience in mutual fund marketing;
Or 13+ years of equivalent work
experience.
