Lead Digital Marketing Communications Job Description

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Lead Digital Marketing Communications will be responsible for researching, defining, developing, and executing an integrated digital content strategy. He/She will be a leader that can help set the strategy, develop program tactics, and execute a content plan to successfully increase customer on-line engagement, advance Company positioning and consideration, and support lead nurturing campaigns to increase the sales pipeline. Plan would be informed by knowledge of buyer behavior, ABS marketing and sales priorities, and an understanding of market landscape and key competitor positioning.

Job Description:

The Lead Digital Marketing Communications will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Conduct and evaluate buyer behavior research, profiling target audiences and their purchase decision-making process

  • Define content strategy and lead the development of a Company point of view framework for targeted content areas which includes competitive positioning perspective

  • Develop blueprint for required content, media type, and merchandising plans

  • Source content in support of plan, working with both internal and external parties to deliver

  • Partner with Marketing Analytics team to test effectiveness of topic selection, media mix and placement strategies

  • Lifecycle manage program content requirements.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Lead Digital Marketing Communications Job

  • 5+ years of marketing experience involving both online and offline marketing programs
  • Knowledge of content merchandising and marketing best practices
  • Proven track record of content strategy execution driving successful lead generation results, preferably in B2B telecommunications environment
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams in a matrixed environment
  • Exceptional organizational and problem solving skills and proven program leadership capabilities
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office products including Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook
  • Seven or more years related experience in marketing, communications, or advertising, etc.
  • Knowledge of telecommunications industry and terminology including wireless
  • Strong strategic development background, including development of plans and presentations
  • Solid understanding of media planning
  • Ability to work with multiple levels of management throughout organization.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Lead Digital Marketing Communications Job

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications or related discipline.
