Job Summary:
The
Director Online Marketing & eBusiness
Intelligence will work closely with
sales, marketing, merchandising,
eCommerce, and other functional areas
within Company and will lead a team of
specialized managers that provide
technical and business expertise
ensuring Marketing’s positive
contribution to the business’s sales,
margin, and customer satisfaction goals.
The
Director Online Marketing & eBusiness
Intelligence will oversee a highly
dynamic and strategic function,
leveraging new technologies and tactics
to support the growth and evolution of
Company’s business.

Description:
The
Director Online Marketing & eBusiness
Intelligence will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
Direct
the development, management and
implementation of online marketing
strategies that will improve lead
generation, increase new business
acquisition and effectively drive
existing account sales and profitability
for Company
Spearhead
collaboration with Sales leaders on the
development of a comprehensive online
marketing roadmap that will provide
Company an additional channel of
qualified leads
Direct
the development, standardization, and
execution of the brand across all online
channels
Oversee
online campaigns and initiatives from
concept to implementation and analysis
for all online vehicles including
Marketing and eCommerce sites, online
catalogs and customer micro sites
Direct
new customer lead generation and
acquisition through search engine
optimization, paid search, display ads,
social media, and mobile applications
Collaborate with eBusiness Intelligence
to define, report, and interpret
analytic results for all Company online
channels. Leverage analytical insights
to drive effective decisions
Lead in
the evaluation, selection and management
of agency partners
Build a
team of industry experts that provide
innovative online solutions that
increase leads and maximize sales
Oversee
the development and management of
eBusiness Intelligence strategy for
Company online platforms and campaigns
Leverage
key customer insights to drive increased
lead generation, acquisition, conversion
and retention
Define
eBusiness analytics and onsite search
strategy for Company’s eCommerce and
Marketing platforms including emails,
online catalogs, affiliates, display
ads, paid search, social media, mobile
apps, and surveys
Provide
ownership of the Omniture analytics
platform, including actionable insights
from all online channels to improve user
experience and maximize revenue
Provide
oversight and support of online
merchandising for two eCommerce sites to
increase margin and customer
satisfaction through improved demand
shaping, assortment ranking and user
experience insights
Oversee
the tagging strategy and data collection
for all online eCommerce and marketing
channels
Manage
and foster third-party vendor
relationships to provide thought
leadership and leading edge solutions
Build a
team of industry experts on Search
platforms including, Recommind, Endeca,
and Lucene
Manage
and develop the team
Foster a
positive, creative and
technologically-inspiring team
environment
Bridge
eCommerce and Marketing through shared
best practices that leverage expertise
and maximize resources across all
departments
Challenge
associates to become the recognized
leaders of online solutions in Company,
including the use of forward-thinking
channels such as social media and mobile
Create
strong cross-functional relationships
across multiple Company locations and
field teams
Coach and
develop associates to meet or exceed
business objectives and attain personal
career goals
Allocate
resources and workload in alignment with
the needs of the business
Manage
marketing budget and team of ~20 online
marketing professionals.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Director Online Marketing &
eBusiness Intelligence Job
10+
years of progressive
responsibilities in Online
Marketing, eBusiness, or eCommerce
experience, preferably
business-to-business marketing and
collaborating with a large internal
sales organization
Experience managing a technical
staff and working with third party
technology vendors
Extensive knowledge of online
campaign management concepts
including affiliates, SEO, paid
search; web analytics, A/B testing,
user experience design, mobile,
social media, conversion, and
retention
Experience with creative agency
selection and management
Detailed understanding of web
content management systems and
publication lifecycle
Effective manager of people with
strong leadership and team-building
skills
Demonstrated ability to interface
with all levels of senior management
and work cross functionally within a
complex matrix organization
Excellent oral and written
communication skills and strong
interpersonal skills.

Bachelor’s Degree
MBA
in Marketing or equivalent
experience in Online Marketing or
