Job Summary:
The
Director Marketing Strategy Applied
Equipment Systems, under the direction
of the VP Channel Marketing & Strategy
will be responsible for planning and
executing channel marketing activities
and develop strategies for the Systems
North America HVAC equipment and
controls business in the applied
equipment market segments.
He/She will
also be
responsible for participating in
developing marketing plans and
strategies that support and complement
other markets including Complex HVAC,
Network Integration Solutions, Fire &
Security, Products, Solutions, and
Service. He/She will drive concept
development and approval; develop
program components; take ownership over
meeting of financial targets;
participate with sales leadership in
meetings to drive results; and may be
involved in global projects crossing
Business Units.

Description:
The
Director Marketing Strategy Applied
Equipment Systems will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
Lead
a strategic planning team which
serves as an "internal consultant"
to continually maintain, refine, and
develop Systems NA strategies
considering market opportunity,
customer segmentation, value chain
analysis, and competitive
intelligence
Manage market-side of Systems
offerings, defining market
requirements, and participation in
the Phase gate process for new
development programs
Develop alliance partnerships which
fit within Systems NA strategies,
and maintain relationships with
alliance partners
Collect, consolidate, and prioritize
field feedback and incorporate into
strategies and marketing programs
Collect and provide analysis of
market intelligence and market
research
Drive
agreement and create cohesion for
plan including Sales, Ops, and HR
aspects
Lead
implementation of vital plan
programs
Propose and lead change efforts
based on intelligence findings
Tap
into multiple resources to
corroborate findings
Translate strategic and program
goals to specific financial impacts
Create organizational financial
models and gain buy-in on financial
targets
Rationalize and propose pricing
changes across a series of offerings
to better balance with rate and
margins
Create business cases
Prioritize among different
investment options. Coach and/or
critique others on business case
creation
Oversee creation of entire
deployment package for a program
(brochure, presentation, deployment
guide, etc.)
Create training scenarios/videos to
aid in program effectiveness
Drive
deployment to regions with the
region's assistance
Lead
tracking and effectiveness
measurement
Ensure global consistency and
support for programs
Propose and lead organizational
change efforts
Lead
projects of high complexity
Participate in sales efforts, has
direct customer contact
Speak
at association events, leads
association committees, projects,
etc.
Perform other related duties and
projects as assigned.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill

Experience in marketing, market
research, or product marketing
General knowledge of assigned
marketing segment
Ability to integrate information

professional or industry fields
Ability
