Channel Marketing Manager Job Description

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Channel Marketing Manager will work closely with external and internal partners to assure the right customer expectations are set and consistently delivered across the ‘shop, buy and use’ experience. He/She will also identify and develop new capabilities as needed to predict and address future marketplace opportunities.

Job Description:

The Channel Marketing Manager will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Responsible for supporting 2 or more offerings (Payments & Payroll) multi-channel

  • Drive understanding of the key levers that grow the business and know how to pull each lever to drive growth

  • Help manage day to day business by using analytics drive to root cause(s) for performance gaps (and successes) within channels; work channel teams to assess solutions to close gap (or accelerate success)

  • Assist with the revenue and channel sales forecasting process

  • Identify risks and assess appropriate contingency plans; help teams respond to unexpected change

  • Create and implement experiments to identify growth opportunities / channel effectives; in testing, exhibit strong operational rigor, establish hypotheses and clear measures

  • Create strong processes and demonstrate effective project management skills to drive execution cross-functionally

  • Understand the customers pain points and product benefits

  • Connect into channel listening posts to understand VOC/VOE

  • Assist with competitive benchmarking and data collection as needing. 

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Channel Marketing Manager Job

  • Ability to deliver solid quantitative & qualitative analysis to justify proposed actions
  • Ability to prioritizes activities effectively; make others aware of conflicting priorities and propose solutions
  • Evidence of simplifying complex business problems and recommend workable alternative solutions
  • Ability to assess and seek to improve processes within scope; reduce low return activities to increase time for value-add activities
  • Demonstrated strong bias for action
  • Demonstrated strong project management skills
  • Ability to use metrics to manage and assess deliverables
  • Ability to operate effectively as a core member of work teams; solicit and incorporate diverse perspectives
  • Ability to actively build relationships and continuously gather and address feedback to improve performance (of self & teams)
  • Ability to learn from both success and failure; apply learning and help make it relevant to others
  • Ability to deal with problems directly, seeking guidance or perspective from peers, managers and thought partners
  • Demonstrated emerging capability to use different communication skills for different outcomes
  • Ability to positively influence multiple projects
  • Ability to balance speed with quality, and demonstrated ability to get to shared vision.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Channel Marketing Manager Job
