Associate Marketing Manager Online Acquisition Job Description

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Associate Marketing Manager Online Acquisition will be responsible for the execution and management of paid search, display, social ad PPC, and affiliate marketing initiatives. He/She will be responsible for keyword research, creative ad copy development, cultivating and managing affiliates, and budget optimization across channels. The Associate Marketing Manager will collaborate with key Company stakeholders and nurture external agencies as well as media providers to ensure Product's campaign results meet or exceed performance objectives.

The Associate Marketing Manager Online Acquisition will also champion new and emerging media channels launching mobile advertising, biddable media, and social advertising campaigns such as Facebook and others.

Job Description:

The Associate Marketing Manager Online Acquisition will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Work with the broader Online Acquisition team members and internal departments to determine objectives/deadlines and ensure that campaigns successfully meet strategic imperatives

  • Manage the design and development of online marketing campaigns that directly align with business objectives

  • Provide ongoing recommendations in relation to the opportunity and impact of online marketing efforts

  • Identify new channels and opportunities such as Facebook and other emerging advertising platforms

  • Leverage third party tools to gauge industry trends and compile recommendations as well as best practices

  • Develop key processes with affiliate partners and agencies to recruit and manage new publishers while cultivating existing partners

  • Develop effective hypothesis for A/B tests to increase funnel conversion rates by conducting landing page optimizations

  • Work with external agencies to facilitate ongoing development, management and testing of new ad copy creatives

  • Work cross functionally to successfully integrate social and brand campaigns where relevant

  • Assist in establishing organizational/departmental processes and protocols as it pertains to online marketing execution

  • Administer online marketing planning in a "test and learn" culture

  • Partner with Analytics team to create best in class marketing dashboards

  • Analyze individual channel performance to provide marketing insights to improve performance, conversion rates, and lifetime customer value

  • Educate key stakeholders on trends and emerging opportunities

  • Utilize web analytics software to evaluate campaign efforts including website statistics, advertising analysis, ongoing evaluation, and recommend/report optimization tactics to key stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Associate Marketing Manager Online Acquisition Job

  • Solid understanding of online behavior, online media, and trends in the online space
  • Working experience with Google Adwords and Microsoft AdCenter and a strong understanding of pay-per-click search and affiliate marketing
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves to troubleshoot problems and learn new things
  • Highly-analytical, statistics junkie, problem-solver, and creative thinker
  • Quick and motivated learner with a passion for driving growth
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of information to make decisions
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and prioritization skills
  • 1-2+ years in the online marketing space
  • Experience with online channels such as search, affiliates and display.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Associate Marketing Manager Online Acquisition Job
