Associate Director US Marketing - Pharmaceutical Job Description

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Associate Director US Marketing - Pharmaceutical will be responsible for developing, executing, and tracking strategic and tactical initiatives for Company products focused on patients and health care professionals and align with brand marketing goals. The Associate Director US Marketing - Pharmaceutical, will participate in the execution of a plan that will include short and long-term strategies and tactics designed to support and educate the patient and prescriber communities using creative avenues. He/She will ensure all communications with the patient and prescriber communities are current, consistent and credible. The Associate Director US Marketing - Pharmaceutical will closely collaborate with market assess, medical affairs, health economics outcomes research, regulatory and the Patient Therapeutic Coordination Center (PTCC).

Job Description:

The Associate Director US Marketing - Pharmaceutical will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Responsible for overseeing strategic marketing within the online space while providing direction for traditional marketing vehicles to drive stakeholders to make actionable decisions

  • Identify opportunities to deploy marketing strategies and tactics specifically to enhance and support patient outcomes

  • Manage advertising agency partner responsible for development and delivery of branded and unbranded promotional tools

  • Contribute to brand planning and execution process

  • Develop sustainable, high level working partnerships with internal resources and external resources

  • Collaborate with and influence a diverse group of individuals in a proactive, objective and diplomatic manner to ensure that products are appropriately and successfully engaged with the patient community

  • Cultivate an understanding of ailment and its appropriate indications and value

  • Responsible for effectively managing communication and information in a regulated environment

  • Ensure that all marketing activities are in compliance with medical, regulatory and legal requirements

  • Manage all activities within a defined forecast and per corporate SOPs

  • Travel approximately 20 - 30%.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Associate Director US Marketing - Pharmaceutical Job

  • 5 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience
  • In depth understanding of Pharmaceutical marketing strategies and regulatory environment
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written skills and the ability to interact professionally representing Company and its products
  • Ability to understand and communicate the Company and brand core message, value and data; translating the information into patient and prescriber benefits
  • Ability to work closely with HEOR, legal and regulatory, and medical affairs
  • Demonstrated ability to form enduring productive relationships with KOLs
  • Strong organizational and operations skills, attention to details
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Leadership, relationship management, conflict resolution and ability to work collaboratively
  • Strong business acumen and a strategic approach to problem-solving considering all of the potential implications of key decisions.  

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Associate Director US Marketing - Pharmaceutical Job

  • Undergraduate degree; advanced degree (MBA) preferred.
