Job Summary:
The
VP Strategy Marketing & Business
Development will
create and execute strategic initiatives
to maximize the growth potential of
Company’s business in the market.
Proactively identify, develop and drive
longer-term strategies and initiatives
that will result in profitable growth.
He/She will provide a roadmap for new
business building efforts; build
detailed functional business plans for
key strategic growth initiatives; and
contribute to accountable P&L
commitments.

The
VP Strategy Marketing & Business
Development will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Identify, explore and coordinate the
development of new strategic
initiatives as well as new product
opportunities in support of
strategic imperatives
-
Produce in-depth market assessment,
sales information and customer
retention data to define gaps in
business strategy and develop
recommendations for action based on
sound analysis
-
Partner with the product management
and finance teams on pricing
management and customer
profitability, assess pricing and
product mix vs. competitors, and
develop recommendations on updated
pricing or business models as
appropriate
-
Evaluate how to stay competitive in
the market place and how Company's
products can increase revenue while
minimizing expense
-
Responsible for establishing
strategic direction for Company in
partnership with the Senior
Leadership Team
-
Own
the development and delivery of the
division's annual strategic plan
-
Oversee research for key strategic
initiatives, including
identification of key issues,
management of customer research,
analysis, and development of
comprehensive business cases
-
Prepare reports and offer
interpretation of competitive
activity for sales, marketing,
operations and executive management
-
Ensure that market and competitive
information remains current and that
all constituents are up-to-date
-
Track
key industry trends such as
regulatory and competitive
challenges, and develop plans and
recommendations to mitigate and
manage these emerging risks
-
Responsible for analyzing product
portfolio and go-to-market approach
with a focus on identifying new
growth opportunities for the
division
-
Support special projects and
marketing initiatives designed to
increase sales and enhance client
retention.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill

10+
Years relevant work experience
-
Experience in a strategy consulting
firm and/or internal strategic
planning group within relevant
market
-
Knowledge of the market; practice
management, Electronic Health
Records, Revenue Cycle Management,
etc
-
Experience in Marketing is preferred
-
Strong oral and written
communication skills
-
Experience leading and analyzing
primary and secondary market
research and competitive analysis
-
Ability to influence and lead
cross-functional teams
-
Experience managing and developing
direct reports
-
Strong analytical skills.
