Job Summary:
The
Site Manager will
be responsible for
directing and managing the Production
Operation of a Plant . He/She will
perform
day-to-day responsibilities which includes
forecasting, inventory analysis and
control, project management and
production efficiency management.
The Site
Manager will ensures the Plant's
growth and cost effectiveness by
planning, organizing, leading, and
controlling the different manufacturing
and operations support departments to
produce and deliver high quality
products at 100% OTIF.
The Site
Manager also has the
responsibility for maintaining
regulatory compliance with applicable
federal, state, and local environmental,
industrial hygiene, and occupational
health regulations. He/She will also be
responsible for directing the
implementation, maintenance
administration and improvements of an
effective employee EH&S program. The
Manager will ensure continuing ISO 9000.
The Site
Manager will also be responsible for
planning, directing and coordinating the
activities related to construction and
maintenance of all the company's
structures, facilities, machinery and
equipment. Job

The
Site Manager will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

The
Site Manager will oversee
activities directly related to the
production of the Company's products, maintenance
services and regulatory and safety
activities
-
Determine staffing requirements, and
interview, hire and train new employees,
or oversee those personnel processes
-
Manage and optimize inventory of raw
materials and products produced
-
The Site
Manager will drive continuous improvement across all
areas of plant performance including
personnel performance, production
volumes, product quality and cost
effectiveness
-
The Site
Manager will
Implement continuous improvement
initiatives in all processes and work
activities and ensures the establishment
of programs & control measures to
support and maintain the highest overall
performance standards
-
Contribute to the preparation of annual
Strategic and Business Operating Plans
with preparation of budgets for plant
operating volumes and costs and all
plant related capital expenditures
-
The Site
Manager will ensure inventory of all raw materials, WIP and Finished goods is in place to
meet planned production rates and
product mix
-
Advise and direct compliance with
regulatory EH&S (ie Employee Health &
Safety) policies, protocols, programs
and procedures
-
The Site
Manager will work closely with the Production team
and Sr. Regulatory and Safety Manager in
supporting the EH&S needs and to promote
strong Health and Safety Awareness

Ensure all sites maintain regulatory
compliance, and ISO 9000
-
The Site
Manager will ensure all applicable regulations and
permits are complied with and report any
variations to Site Leaders (Production
and Regulatory/Safety) and the Executive
VP
-
Assist site in achieving corporate EHS
standards through mentoring and coaching
staff
-
Monitor company's facilities to ensure
a safe environment while complying with
all relevant local, federal and State
safety and health laws and regulations
-
The Site
Manager will supervise and direct the Operations
and Production departments, including
monitoring and evaluating work
performance, assisting with more complex
or unusual problems, delegating work
task responsibilities, providing
training and direction and interviewing
and suggesting applicants for department
hire
-
The Site
Manager will obtain and review forecasts from the
Sales team for load into the MRP. Load
the validated requirements into the ERP
system and review results
-
Review Purchase orders for raw materials
to support customer orders and place
purchase orders as needed with approved
suppliers to meet production
requirements at the optimum price and
delivery time
-
The Site
Manager will follow up with the
purchasing responsible for any delivery
delays or quality issues that may occur
-
Review with approved raw materials
supplier's market conditions that may
affect the price and the supply of
materials
-
Maintain knowledge of raw materials
economic fluctuations
-
The Site
Manager will gain knowledge and exhibit mastery of
Company's internal production and ERP
software's
-
Support and participate actively in the
ISO 9001:2008 system already
established
-
The Site
Manager will contribute data/reports and
attend monthly management review
meetings
He/She will perform
other incidental and related duties as
required and assigned.

understanding in technical and
practical knowledge of Health &
Safety Regulations, DOT Regulations,
Workers' Compensation Law, Labor
Laws & Regulations, and Technical
and Legal aspects of Safety &
security.
Minimum Education Requirements /
