Job Summary:
The
Project Manager Information Systems will
be responsible for the on schedule, on
budget execution of multiple, complex IS
projects.

Description:
The
Project Manager Information Systems will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

The
Project Manager Information Systems
will be required to negotiate and
build consensus in a complex
multi-vendor highly matrixed
environment
-
Work
with business stakeholders to gather
requirements, develop plans and
communicate project status
-
The
Project Manager Information Systems
will establish, implement, develop,
and control best practices for IS
project management including the
definition and documentation of all
policies and processes related to
the project lifecycle
-
The
Project Manager Information Systems
will also create formal
methodologies for defining project
key performance metrics and
allocating resources
-
Work
or engage cross functional
departments and clients according to
current requirements and to
accomplish the above tasks.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
For Project Manager Information Systems Job
-
The
Project Manager Information Systems
should have at least 3 years direct
work experience in an IT project or
program management capacity,
including all aspects of process
development and execution
-
Possess experience in managing full
life cycle information systems
projects, large scale systems
development and/or information
technology initiatives
-
The
Project Manager Information Systems
should demonstrate ability to
successfully manage complex IS
projects and project teams
-
PMO
Management experience highly
desirable
-
He/She should be critical thinker
and problem solver

Strong leader with experience

The
Project Manager Information Systems
should be excellent negotiator and
consensus builder

Possess ability to work in a team
environment

Excellent verbal and written
communications skills are mandatory

Project Manager Information Systems
should have excellent knowledge of
Microsoft Windows applications
including Project, Excel and Word.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Project Manager Information Systems Job

Bachelor's degree from an accredited
university in Computer Science,
Information Systems or combination
of experience and study

Will
consider excellent qualifications in
lieu of Degree
-
PMI
certification or equivalent
experience is highly desirable.
