Job Summary:
The
Program Manager Online Technology,
reporting to the director - Information
Technology,
will be responsible for helping IT
and business partners to understand
strategic initiatives as well as deliver
capabilities that support the Company
online, as well as the Wholesale channel
fulfillment in addition to supporting
The Company's retail business
The
Program Manager Online Technology will
serve as part of the IT Project
Management team and play a lead role at
the initiative/program level. He/She
will provide effective management &
direct several teams of associates in
the planning, development, and
implementation of Company's very large
($20MM or more) IT projects, or oversee
the management of multiple smaller
projects being managed by Senior Project
Managers, Project Managers or Project
Analysts.
The
Program Manager Online Technology will
be responsible for delivering several
key project artifacts, and share
responsibility and accountability with
the project leadership team for the
successful delivery of the entire
project. He/She will work
cross-functionally with end-user groups,
business partners, vendors, development
groups, architects, and service managers
to ensure that new applications meet the
practical needs of the company and are
delivered successfully.
The
Program Manager Online Technology will
also be responsible for helping the
Development VP with long range planning
activities.
Job
Description:
The
Program Manager Online Technology will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

The
Program Manager Online Technology will
lead the long term program planning
effort, including the formulation of the
overall implementation strategy, program
scope, definition of the deliverables
and the required delivery dates,
creation of a logical work breakdown
structure, definition of major project
milestones, accumulation of all project
cost and benefit estimates
-
The
Program Manager Online Technology will
ensure a viable work plan is created
that results in the on time completion
of the projects within the program
-
Lead the
development of effective plans for
controlling project scope, schedule and
cost baseline, and monitor the project
execution to ensure that the plan is
being followed
-
The
Program Manager Online Technology will
approve documentation to explain changes
to the baseline, and ensure the approved
changes are implemented
-
Monitor
logs of all submitted changes and their
status
-
The
Program Manager Online Technology will
develop or approve an effective plan for
communicating program information to the
project stakeholders
-
Review
and approve written status reports,
monitor project status codes, and
present program review documents for
senior management
He/She
will resolve or escalate project issues.
Communicate status of projects with the
team, peers, management, and end-users
The
Program Manager Online Technology will lead
the definition of project risks, and the
required mitigation approaches
Monitor
project activities for the occurrence of
risks, and take timely action to
mitigate the risk
Advise
project team members, stakeholders and
senior management of actions required or
completed
The
Program Manager Online Technology will
resolve
problems by analyzing issues, discerning
the most appropriate courses of actions,
providing tactical direction and, when
necessary, reallocating resources
Ensure
lessons learned are effectively applied
to subsequent projects
Ensure a
good working environment exists for all
members of the team
The
Program Manager Online Technology will
ensure
teams are staffed, duties and
responsibilities are understood by
everyone, and an inclusive environment
is maintained
Manage a
team of Senior Project Managers,
Project Manager and/or Project
Analysts
The
Program Manager Online Technology will
ensure
they are adequately trained, and
performing at the required level
He/She
will
select,
develop, and motivate assigned staff
Responsible for guiding and directing
the overall success of all projects
through associated staff.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /

The
Program Manager Online Technology should
have 10 years experience

Experience with MS Project, MS Project
Server, MS Sharepoint, MS Excel, MS
Word, Development Methodology,
Financials, .com technology

should have excellent communication
skill

Ability
to understand, anticipate, and meet
business and project needs

The
