Job Summary:
The
Manager Community Benefit will be
responsible for providing management and
analytical support to the Community
Programs Office, the Community Benefit
Steering Committee, and the MHS Board
Community Benefit Subcommittee.
He/She will perform
community
benefit data collection, analysis, and
reporting of work with internal and
external parties to organize the various
components needed to initiate, operate
and conclude projects for the Community
Programs Office. He/She will work
closely with managers in other Company
Healthcare Corp departments and
entities, and community organizations to
secure information required to complete
analysis and make recommendations.
The
Manager Community Benefit will also
provide
support for the Community Benefit
Steering Committee and MWHC MHS Board
Community Benefit Oversight Committee (CBOC).
He/She will also be responsible for
development, oversight, and ongoing
management of the organization’s
Campaigns.
Job
Description:
The
Manager Community Benefit will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Manage
the consolidation of system-wide
community benefit information by
managing the collection, analysis and
reporting of Community Benefit data,
including financial data, using CBISA
software and other data entry programs
-
Support
the MWHC Community Benefit Steering
Committee by providing data, resources,
findings and best practices with
representatives of each subcommittee and
its members
-
Participate as a member of MWHC
management team that provides ongoing
critical review, assessment, and design
of Community Benefit plans and programs
-
Provide
analytical project support in measuring
and reporting program accomplishments
and results
-
Ensure
the timely completion and accuracy of
presentations, reports, and other
material in a manner that contributes to
decision-making and strategic planning
-
Collaborate with the Public Relations
and Communications Marketing Department
to utilize various media to convey the
community benefit story both internally
and externally
-
Assist in
the preparation of the organization’s
annual Community Benefit Report
-
Work with
community and other leaders (formal and
informal) to access and meet identified
needs
-
Provide
management support for the Citizen
Advisory Council
-
Represent
the organization at community events and
work with community representatives to
provide organizational assistance to
accomplish mutual goals
-
Assist in
the Preparation of agendas, arrangement
of facilities, and coordination of
meeting logistics as requested
-
Assist
individual departments by providing
training on Community Benefit and
assisting in the development of their
individual Community Benefit strategies
-
Manage
and administer the organization’s annual
Campaigns in conjunction with identified
executive and the local Campaign office
-
Work with
individual departments to develop and
achieve respective targets and goals.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Manager Community Benefit Job

Knowledge
and experience of working with the
demographics and communities in
Organization's primary service area

Demonstrated experience in review and
interpretation of regional and state
health data and information
-
Experience in the design and
implementation of project monitoring
strategies
-
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and
Power Point
-
Community
services background; health background
pertaining to data collection and
outcome measures preferred
-
Excellent
written and verbal communication skills
-
Ability
to produce financial narrative reports,
spreadsheets, graphs, etc.
-
Excellent
critical thinking skills and the ability
to work independently
-
Strong
organizational skills
-
Strong
interpersonal skills and the ability to
comfortably interact with various
departments and entities within
Organization Corp Health System and
community nonprofit organizations
-
Ability
to learn and operate project management
software.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Manager Community Benefit Job

Bachelor’s degree and minimum of three
years experience working in a hospital,
health agency, or community service
organization.
