Job Summary:
The
Investment Operations Manager will be
primarily responsible for coordinating
the records, transactions, and reporting
needs of the Investment Department and
interface with Finance and Information
Technology for the organization.
The
Investment Operations Manager will
assure delivery of timely and accurate
reports by implementing and maintaining
a series of systems and processes.
He/She will lead a series of projects
designed to upgrade the operational
processes for the investment function of
the organization. Job
Description:
The
Investment Operations Manager will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Upgrade
systems used for accounting and managing
alternative investments (Private Equity,
Real Estate and Absolute Return
strategies)
-
Improve
the Trading, Settlement, Accounting and
Reconciliation processes used for
managing internal index funds
-
Integrate
systems to enable more holistic
reporting and analysis
-
Improve
processes for preparing key reports for
investment personnel
-
Ensure
information contained in these key
reports is timely and accurate
-
Improve
processes and procedures to ensure
adequate controls and separation of
duties between Front Office and Back
Office functions.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
For Investment Operations Manager Job
-
Five (5)
years of responsible experience
performing duties related to the
planning, organizing, directing and
controlling reconciliations, information
systems, finance, or accounting or
related duties
-
Specific
experience in treasury operations and/or
investments preferred.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Investment Operations Manager Job
-
Bachelors degree in
Accounting/Finance or related field;
or an equivalent combination of
education and experience
-
Certified Public Accountant or
Chartered Financial Analyst
preferred
-
MBA
or related Masters Degree preferred.
