Job Summary:
The
Field Services (FS) Proposal Manager
will work closely with the proposal team
and the Regional Service Managers to
develop and manage the Field Services
Proposals as a part of the overall
proposal response. Job
Description:
The
Field Services (FS) Proposal Manager will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Participate in Capture and Proposal team
meetings, customer oral
presentations, and negotiations, as
required -
Review the customer
requirements documents and provide
compliance responses, proposal
write-ups and pricing. The pricing
will be developed through the
internal Field Services Calculator
tool as well as bid competitively,
where applicable, through Statement
of Works written by the FS Proposal
Manager and approved by the RSM -
Work
directly with Supply Management,
Programs, and the RSMs to review,
evaluate, and negotiate the
quotes/proposals received by
Subcontractors
Ensure
close collaboration with
Regional Service Managers to develop
the most cost effective, compliant
implementation strategies as well as
close collaboration with the Sales
organization to develop win
strategies and themes that will be
reflected in the proposal
documentation
Develop and
maintain a documentation “library”
containing specific and generic
service write-ups used in proposals,
which can be quickly modified for
use on future proposals.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
For Field Services (FS) Proposal Manager Job

4 years
experience in local and federal
government proposal management and
contracting as well as experience in
cost estimating and pricing
-
Ability to understand
and apply technical concepts related
to land mobile radio
-
Customer focused with outstanding
organizational and time management
skills
-
Good oral and written
communication skills
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Word,
Excel, Power Point and Visio
-
Ability to work independently as well as a
member of a larger team and or as a
team leader
-
Ability to work overtime and to travel
when required
-
Valid driver's license
-
Ability to obtain a federal
security clearance, if required.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For

Bachelors degree, an advanced degree
is preferred.
