The
Facilities And Security Manager will lead
the overall facilities management of one
Company site within one country. He/She
will
ensure that the site's critical systems
are operational 24/7 through regular
inspection and maintenance.
The
Facilities And Security Manager will oversee
and may perform the safety, security,
and general maintenance activities at
the site to maintain a safe and pleasant
working environment for all employees
and visitors. He/She will also
develop and maintain local vendor
relationships and budget and procurement
duties as required.
Job
Description:
The
Facilities And Security Manager will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
Achieve 100% uptime of site critical
systems and equipment. Critical systems
and equipment include:
Power/UPS,
Back-up generator,
Fuel supply.
HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air
Conditioning),
Plumbing/Water supply,
Security doors/alarms/cameras,
Fire safety systems and equipment
Coordinate and execute, when necessary,
inspection, testing, general maintenance
and repair of the critical site systems
and equipment in order to support
revenue generation. (Problem solving,
resourcefulness, strategic
thinking/planning)
Deliver timely and efficient
solutions to facility-related requests
Employ effective organizational and
time-management skills to deliver
solutions to routine and emergency
requests and general facility
maintenance needs within established
timelines. This includes initiating,
managing and performing Change
Management Requests (CMRs) as well as
requests and incidents received through
global ticketing system and email, space
planning, coordinating the maintenance
of proper inventory levels for
housekeeping and site supplies, and
ensuring proper security and safety
measures are enforced. Prioritization of
or acting on requests such as people and
equipment moves, locker assignment and
other time-sensitive requests is
critical in order to maintain customer
satisfaction. (Problem solving, can-do
attitude, persuasion and influence,
collaboration, negotiation)
Develop and maintain relationships
with vendors for maximum site
efficiency. The vendor relationship
management includes work with any
outsourced vendors used to support the
day-to-day operations of the site
(housekeeping, security, landscaping) as
well as with those vendors used for the
maintenance or repair of critical site
systems and equipment. Knowledge of the
Purchase Request/Purchase Order process
is mandatory in order to support
maintenance and repairs. (Process
improvement, collaboration, planning,
budgeting, partnership)
Communicate overall status of site
and budget
May be required to create and
maintain reports using Excel, Word, or
other systems tools. These reports are
submitted to senior managers or
directors at the site and/or Corporate
Facilities personnel. The reports
provide updates on system and equipment
maintenance, issues, current budget
usage, and compliance with regulatory
guidelines specific to the site.
Creating reports for budgetary updates
and may also be required to ensure
spending is controlled and monitored and
the appropriate budgetary decisions are
being made in line with organizational
guidelines and authority. (Strategic
planning, budgeting, accountability,
business acumen)
Maintain practices that promote and
protect health, safety, security and
site effectiveness
Provide
situation/status updates to the Senior
Manager, Director and/or Corporate
Facilities personnel until the issue is
resolved and the critical system or
equipment is fully operational
Assure
people at the site are trained in
emergency procedures and that all
emergency systems are tested regularly
Actively monitor changes in local,
state, and country law and legislation
to ensure the site and its operation is
compliant. Involvement in site health
and safety committee functions is also
required. (Compliance, innovation,
resourcefulness, specific knowledge of
local laws and regulations)
Improve the key success metrics.
These include:
Employee Related Gross Margin (ERGM),
Site Attrition,
Employee Engagement measurements,
Safety and Security measurements
Work
daily to improve facility processes and
performance that enhance bottom line
results. This includes partnering with
various business units and/or vendors to
support and deliver site improvements to
increase employee engagement and/or
repairs or enhancements to improve
safety and security. (Innovation,
process improvement, problem solving)
Manage/support a team of Facilities
and Security Specialists to deliver
outstanding Facilities and Security
services
May be responsible for
managing/supporting, coaching and
developing a team of one or more
Facilities professionals of various
levels
Review the performance of each
team member
Provide training and
support for specialists, set realistic
and measurable goals for the team, and
develop appropriate reward programs as
needed. This includes coordinating
projects, providing feedback, and making
assignments in support of team or
corporate-wide projects
Participate in
the hiring process, set goals, conduct
annual performance reviews, and manage
compensation for these employees.

accountability).
