The Construction Manager will be responsible for coordinating all communications between the contractor and government team.

Job Description:

The Construction Manager will perform all or some of the following Job description:

• Minimum 5 years of practical field experience in project management, or contract administration
• Experience with Architectural finishes, mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, HVAC grocery stores and similar facilities
• Knowledge of CPM scheduling, RS Means estimating procedures and OSHA safety regulations
• Well developed interpersonal skills, ability to handle challenging situations with diplomacy and tact
• Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills
• Proficient with MS Office applications as well as computer skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction-related processes, as well as a thorough knowledge of industry practices
• Experience in vertical and horizontal construction, preferably on major federal construction projects
• Experience with construction management processes and coordination of multiple consultants
• Assertive with excellent communication skills and technically competent in construction practices
• Capable of verifying that construction work has been completed in compliance with contract requirements, maintaining daily record files in a computer-based system, conducting meetings with contractor and government representatives, and preparing minutes and lists of required actions.
