The Clinical Resource Manager will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating all hospital procurement expense reduction efforts between clinical departments, physicians, Materials Distribution and Purchasing. 

Job Description:

The Clinical Resource Manager will perform all or some of the following Job description:

• Review product selection and product utilization to ensure cost effectiveness

• Based on assessments, facilitate and develop processes for review and approval by the Value Analysis Committee

• Work with the Department of Quality and Safety to facilitate all recall efforts for clinical areas

• Work collaboratively with GPO's, physicians, allied health professionals, administrators, Biomedical Engineering, finance and supply chain staff, vendors and other individuals.    

• Five (5) years relevant experience
• Experience in a healthcare environment (nursing, rehab therapies, respiratory therapy, radiology or other clinical background) strongly preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft office tools, particularly Excel spreadsheets and MS Word
• Experience with the Lawson MMIS is a plus
• Functional working knowledge of clinical and surgical supply processes
• Goal-oriented and aggressive in accomplishing results with a leadership style characterized by high visibility, participation and delegation
• Strong oral and written communications skills to effectively convey new programs, policies and processes needed to affect change successfully
• Strong interrelations and management skills tempered with an ability to effectuate change in a dynamic environment
• Ability to communicate with physicians and other clinical healthcare professionals.

• Bachelor's Degree
• Master's Degree in Business (MBA) or health science discipline preferred.
