Clinic Quality & Outcomes Manager Job Description

 

 

 

Job Description:

The Clinic Quality & Outcomes Manager will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Responsible for helping to design and implement quality initiatives and population/disease management strategies within the Health4 practices

  • Assume responsibilities and activities from the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) as the amount of information on Health4 performance becomes available.  

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Clinic Quality & Outcomes Manager Job

  • 5-10 years in clinical nursing practice

  • 3-5 years in hospital, managed care organization, or other healthcare organization in quality, utilization or equivalent programs

  • Strong clinical knowledge including evidence-based standards of care, quality, performance, or process improvement

  • Basic database data entry

  • Spreadsheet and word-processing capabilities

  • Literature search knowledge

  • Writing, communication and strong interpersonal skills with all levels of staff and professionals

  • Management skills such as consultation, teaching/learning, problem-solving, and understanding of quality improvement

  • Ability to work autonomously

  • Sensitivity to confidential member and physician information

  • Ambulatory practice focus.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Clinic Quality & Outcomes Manager Job

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program

  • Registered Nurse, BSN, MSN Preferred.
