Job Summary:
The
Assistant Marketing Manager, reporting
to the Brand Marketing Director, will be
responsible for much of the day-to-day
marketing of the Company's brand. He/She
will have an opportunity to wear many
hats and play a hands-on role in the
management of this up-and-coming brand
within the Company portfolio.Job

The
Assistant Marketing Manager will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Contribute to overall brand
strategy, positioning, equity and
communication plans for ~$100M brand -
Utilize market trends and consumer
research to refine and optimize
positioning -
Work
with matrix of creative agency
partners to ensure on-brand and
salient consumer messaging -
Deliver campaign creative with a
consistent visual brand language -
Contribute to and execute marketing
plans designed to drive awareness,
trial, and sales growth while
maintaining the authentic brand
feeling inherent to the brand -
Execute the brand's integrated
communication strategy -
Oversee and manage annual marketing
budget of ~$5MM -
Employ grassroots tactics and
regional market heavy-up to build
this business "from the ground up" .

Support Director in creation of
Annual Operating Plan -
Regularly analyze business results
to identify program effectiveness,
opportunities for growth, and to
track competitive movements -
Oversee Public Relations for brand
and identify opportunities for
product placement -
Oversee creation of packaging, POS
materials, sell-sheets, trade ads,
etc. -
Manage website and social media for
the brand, including setting
strategy, managing agency, and
ensuring on-brand execution -
Plan
and oversee annual trade shows.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill

years of marketing experience,
preferably among marketing at a
top-tier CPG company or consumer
brand-driven entrepreneurial
start-up
-
Good
balance of creative and innovative
thinking skills (intuition) coupled
with the strategic, analytic and
practical thinking skills required
to take a brand from "good-to-great"
-
Exceptional results orientation -
with a high degree of personal
initiative and leadership - in a
minimal resource environment

Strong consumer understanding
skills, translating insights into
winning marketing plans and a high
degree of creativity to find new,
compelling ways to reach and
communicate to consumers

Exceptional skill in analysis and
problem solving

Excellent project and financial
management skills

Excellent interpersonal and
relationship building skills with a
proven track record of leadership
that delivers business results

Strong knowledge of the grocery
channel and keys to success in
launching new products in this
channel is preferred.
