Area Sales Manager - Business Development Job Description

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Area Sales Manager - Business Development will be responsible for new business development & sales for mid size & large clients. This will be accomplished by analyzing the client's business situation and, as a result, consultatively selling the RIS Concept.

Job Description:

The Area Sales Manager - Business Development will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Drive the sales effort within assigned accounts with continual contact and face to face meetings with C level executives. Directly responsible for the continued growth of each account

  • Create and own the sales strategy for specific accounts

  • Directly responsible for account penetration, account development and long term business relationship

  • Ensure the full scope of potential clients' operations and circumstances are understood prior to closing the sale

  • Responsible for managing the implementation and development of new In-House accounts

  • Design and proactively implement solutions and processes which enhance the productivity and business plan of the client

  • Communicate effectively and operate in a successful team environment with the Site Managers, clients, and senior leadership. 

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Area Sales Manager - Business Development Job

  • 10+ years relevant work experience
  • Ability to communicate your strong sales process with proven results, preferably in a lengthy sales cycle
  • Five Years' experience in a commercial/sales role within a staffing organization or similar service based business
  • Demonstrated ability of being alert to market opportunities, and exploits them effectively
  • Demonstrated proven track record in providing efficient and profitable customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to seek objectives that are clear and achievable
  • Demonstrated capability of considering broader issues while leading to clear decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate with sensitivity and assertiveness while not letting go of own objective
  • Proven track record of above-quota achievement in a highly competitive industry.
      

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Area Sales Manager - Business Development Job

  • Bachelor's Degree.
