Area Property Asset Manager Job Description

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Area Property Asset Manager will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of site-based asset management for properties included in the portfolio of the Housing Operations Division of SHA. He/She will coordinate with and supervise Housing Operations Staff in day-to-day management activities of Public Housing, SHA Mixed-finance/LIHTC and Senior Housing developments.

Job Description:

The Area Property Asset Manager will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Plan, develop and implement policies and procedures that will insure the SHA and its residents meet all HUD and IRC regulatory requirements pertaining to the operation and occupancy of public, senior, mixed-finance (layered-subsidy) low-income housing; improve living conditions for our residents, along with monitoring the operations and budget aspects of the sites to protect and preserve the asset and insure long-term viability of the development, including, but not limited to, marketing, leasing, occupancy, resident receivables, maintenance, capital improvements and HUD / LIHTC Compliance. 

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Area Property Asset Manager Job

  • Property management experience.
      

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Area Property Asset Manager Job

  • Four-year degree in Business or Public Administration from an accredited college or university
  • Masters degree preferred
  • Certification from the Institute of Real Estate Management as a Certified Property Manager (CPM) or Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) and , in addition, Certified Public Housing Manager (PHM) is preferred.
