Job Summary:
The
Sourcing Manager - Consumer and
Commercial Products will be
responsible for developing strategies
and execution for sourced finished goods
and components globally. He/she will
drive key sourcing metrics including
productivity, terms, lead time, service
level, and quality. The sourcing manger
will work in a cross-functional team
environment including directing outside
the US project management teams to
maintain, grow and expand Company
Consumer Products offerings.

The
Sourcing Manager - Consumer and
Commercial Products will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Develop strategies for sourced
category assignments
-
Research, identify, and qualify best
value sources of supply
-
Deliver 7% YOY productivity goals
for the assigned commodities
-
Insure adherence to Terms objectives
-
Reduce Lead times in assigned
commodity
-
Rationalize the supplier base
through the solicitation of
competitive bids
-
Develop and manage the relationships
with preferred suppliers
-
Develop knowledge of new
International markets with the
ability to find new sources
-
Set
up and maintain accurate costing
information SAP and administer SAP
requirements
-
Coordinate with the supply chain
department to ensure that suppliers
adhere to the required delivery
schedules. Take appropriate actions
to maintain on-time deliveries of
approved material
-
Coordinate with the supplier and
planner to minimize excess and
obsolete inventory.

Ability to

3 to
5 years International purchasing
experience
Experience working with Asian
Suppliers
Intimate knowledge and experience
with International markets and
negotiations
Knowledge of ocean freight and/or
international freight practices and
contracts
Knowledge of international trade
laws and regulations
Strong Project Management skills and
experience
Ability to travel internationally 4
to 8 times a year
Ability to work, motivate and lead
effectively in a team environment
Exceptional analytical,
communication, and problem solving
skills
Strong commitment to the highest
standards of personal and
professional integrity
Excellent Presentation skills
Ability to succeed with little
supervision
Knowledge of Internet based
procurement and practices
Ability to organize and analyze data
using a PC
Foreign language skill is a plus
Consumer Products Industry
Experience.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For Sourcing
Manager - Consumer and Commercial
Products
Job

field; or comparable experience.
