The Product Manager - Embedded Technology is responsible for the overall performance of Company product portfolio. He/She is responsible for managing Company products through the Product Life cycle, acting as the primary focal point and knowledge expert for the product.

Job Description:

The Product Manager - Embedded Technology will perform all or some of the following Job description:

• Identify future product requirements, gathering supporting business, market and customer data to develop and present Product Requirements Document to executive management for approval

• Support Product Management as voice of the product during the product development phase until product introduction

• Responsible to manage each Company product in the portfolio through its lifecycle to achieve business performance and profitability goals

• Manage the product end of life process coordinating with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, etc. to ensure structured, profitable ramp down through last shipment

• Be the first line of contact in order to provide support to Sales teams, sales partners and customers for product questions and issues

• Own product pricing for all standard products and quotations for non-standard or custom product proposals

• Oversee the creation, management and administration of part numbers and pricing in order entry system

• Oversee the creation and management of the product line configuration matrix and published price lists

• Provide oversight to monthly product sales forecasting for products into ERP system providing visibility to manufacturing operations and supply chain teams

• Work with operations teams to ensure material availability and capacity planning, identifying potential issues and escalating to senior management as necessary

• Orchestrate, influence and coordinate relationships and processes with sales, manufacturing, sourcing, engineering, marketing communications, and program management.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Product Manager - Embedded Technology Job

• Experience in embedded technology marketplace with specific experience in display products and/ or touch sensor technologies is desirable with a background in product marketing or product management required

• 5 years of actual hands-on experience in the electronics/ technology Industry

• Strong business or technical background and an understanding of the technical product development process (aptitude with high-tech products)

• Extensive experience in the following areas:
  Product life cycle management, segmentation and the adoption life cycle, relationship management, sales support, formal proposal writing and customer communications, presenting to customers and senior executives

• Excellent writing and presentation skills

• Experience with SAP systems

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
