Practice Manager Job Description

 

 

 

 

Job Description:

The Practice Manager will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Provide overall administrative management and coordination of office operations and personnel in two or more Physician clinics.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Practice Manager Job

  • Three to five years experience, with minimum three in a medical business office or clinic setting

  • Three years experience supervising experience

  • Knowledge of medical billing systems and maintaining accurate and complete financial records

  • Proven ability to use problem-solving process in making business and personnel decisions

  • Excellent customer service/interpersonal skills in order to effectively deal with personnel, physicians, and clients

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Knowledge on current medical insurance regulations

  • Knowledge of JCAHO regulations. 

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Practice Manager Job

  • Associates degree preferably in Business or Healthcare Administration or five years equivalent in work experience.
