Manager Finance Job Description

 

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Manager Finance is responsible for overseeing the financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis around the Company business as well as helping to ensure accurate financial information. He/She will utilize the existing Company financial systems and help lead the effort to integrate all of Company financials into the current Company website systems/processes (OLAP, OMS/VPOS, etc). The Manager Finance will drive the sales and margin forecast by class, product level profitability as well as the return on marketing spend analytics.

Job Description:

The Manager Finance will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Work to fully understand business; identify and implement process and organizational improvements. Plan and ensure execution of department objectives

  • Participates in preparation of the annual budget, reviews monthly expenditures and ensure that budgetary goals are met

  • Review monthly metrics to ensure goals are met

  • Conduct financial planning for function and make appropriate recommendations

  • Lead, plan, and coordinate work teams in an efficient manner to effectively perform any financial function and activity; utilize metrics to track performance and manage workload

  • Ensure operational processes and procedures are compliant and consist with established policies

  • Drive key functional financial metrics

  • Develop and support a strategic alliance with business partners

  • Participate in cross-functional activities focused on solving business issues and enhancing Company competitive advantage

  • Facilitate cross-functional communication with other areas of the business including but not limited to Finance, Human Resources, Real Estate, Operations, and Information Systems.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Manager Finance Job

  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, analysis and reporting of financial data
  • Knowledge of business and Management Principles involved in strategic planning and resource allocation
  • Project management skills; ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills; considering relative costs, benefits of potential actions.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Manager Finance Job

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy or in any related field.
