The
Human Resources Manager is responsible
for taking strategic and tactical
ownership of Benefits, HRIS and a
variety of HR Programs.

Human Resources Manager will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
Build
and maintain a formidable – yet
flexible – HR infrastructure
Utilize your significant expertise
in Compensation, Benefits, HRIS and
Compliance administration to install
a “bullet-proof” back office, while
also engaging in regular client
interaction, and the delivery of
effective HR programs, processes and
policies that drive business
productivity
Evaluate current benefit plan
offerings with regard to employee
satisfaction,
marketability/competitiveness in the
job market, cost containment,
effectiveness of provider
relationships, and overall
stakeholder satisfaction
Plan
and recommend “benefit overhaul”:
make our benefits competitive,
compelling, and aligned with the
changing needs of the company and
its employees
Oversee the administration of all
benefit programs including Medical,
Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending,
Leave of Absence Administration,
Short-term and Long-term Disability,
Life/AD&D , 401(k) and Worker’s
Compensation for 75+ employees
located in multiple states
Ensure compliance with all
applicable federal and state laws
Maintain employee records, personnel
files, benefit files, etc. with an
eye toward the eventual selection
and implementation of an automated
HRIS system as/when appropriate
Oversee the general HR processes for
new hires and separations
Administer the annual review
process, employee satisfaction
survey, and other HR programs
Leverage internal resources to
design and ensure delivery of a
comprehensive New Hire Orientation
program
Participate in employee relations
activities, policy / procedure
development and roll-out, candidate
scheduling and hosting, and various
other HR activities and projects.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Human Resources Manager Job
5-10
years experience as an HR Generalist
(preferably with at least 2
different organizations)
administering the systems and
processes for HR services and
activities (separations, LOA’s,
general policies, benefits,
compensation, compliance, reporting,
etc.)
2+
years experience in end-to-end
benefits management, including
vendor selection and relations,
issue resolution, new hire
enrollment trainings and expense
management
Solid
experience with HRIS systems
(including implementation, job
coding, workflow, verifications,
compliance reporting, etc.)
Ability to take initiative and
execute in a fast-moving, start-up
environment with limited resources
and growing infrastructure
