Description:
The
Educational ePublishing Manager will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Develop strategic plan and work with
Web production team to lead tactical
implementation of
online/mobile/video publishing
strategy
-
Provide strategic leadership and
input in educational curriculum
development and production plans
-
Manage the day-to-day operational
and tactical aspects of multiple
high-level, educational curriculum
focused publishing projects and act
as key customer/partner contact
across all projects under their
direction
-
Supervise, train and evaluate team
of seasoned editors/producers and
designers working on client
engagements within group
-
Determine and monitor the
appropriate planning and production
elements, funding recognition,
invoicing, and receivables for
respective projects
-
Manage scope and mitigate risk
across projects
-
Evaluate educational opportunities
in coordinated projects and
implement those in line with budget
and agency objectives
-
Ensure optimal mix of traditional
media and online/multimedia to
support program objectives and
message
-
Provide organizational and customer
service quality control to ensure
that all projects meet overall
standards of excellence
-
Communicate strategic communications
goals and messages to publishing
staff, ensuring integration into all
phases of planning, customer
communication, and management
-
Serve
as Educational Publishing
representative in Company leadership
meetings and strategic planning
sessions, providing team-focused
departmental representation and
advocacy among internal and external
stakeholders

Performed
other
duties as deemed necessary.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Educational ePublishing
Manager Job
Five
years professional educational
communications experience, including
curriculum development, print,
digital and online publications
editing/production and a familiarity
with educational video production
Two
years demonstrated successful
management of multiple employees and
budgets
Excellent editing, writing and
production planning skills
Basic
knowledge of print processes, video
production, online content
management systems, and basic
graphic design and layout principles
Experience with online project
management systems within an
organization
Excellent customer service skills
Organizational and problem-solving
skills
Attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and manage
multiple projects while working with
absolute deadlines and within
customer/client budgets.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
