Job Summary:
The
Data Management Q&P Project Manager is
responsible for the data quality process
and policy development for the Data
Management Office ("DMO"), closely
coordinating the projects and tasks with
Lines of Businesses, Credit Management,
Credit Support Units, PMO, IT and IRMG.
He/She will develop reports and
presentations for senior management.
The
Data Management Q&P Project Manager will
play a key role in the development,
improvement and implementation of the
processes and quality control assurance
in support of Enterprise Wide data
quality projects.

Description:
The
Data Management Q&P Project Manager will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Manage mid-size programs relating to
corporate change initiatives that
impact the quality of data as it is
processed by the business users
including initial input into
Company's system of records.
Responsibilities will include
cross-functional or
inter-departmental implications,
including the analyses of
present-state, developing
alternative future-state approaches
and facilitating implementation of
processes and quality control
environments to enhance the quality
of enterprise wide data

Project management: Defining scope
and deliverables, including resource
planning and appropriately staffing
those projects
-
Define level of effort and timeline,
high level cost estimate and
timeline. Coordination of cross work
stream impacts
-
Work
with Credit Management and Lines of
Businesses to develop and implement
a standardized financial statement
spreading model, including a
comprehensive Quality Control
environment, with a goal of
achieving consistency of process and
delivery

Assist the Company's Independent
Risk Monitoring Group (IRMG) in the
development of its audit and credit
review processes, which will assess
the effectiveness of the Company's
data accuracy processes and
controls.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Data Management Q&P
Project Manager Job

Strong understanding of the
Company's credit risk approval and
booking process, including the loan
and documentation systems used in
this process
-
Detailed knowledge of the Company's
credit process in bank's originating
units, documentation units and loan
operations
-
In
depth understanding of credit data
and how it is used by the business
lines
-
Ability to define and set baseline
data accuracy standards and
thresholds for prioritization
(ranking of priority data fields),
accuracy and quality control testing
parameters (i.e. frequency, type of
sampling routines, etc.),
monitoring/reporting requirements
and corrective action requirements
-
Ability to organize and manage
multiple projects simultaneously

Thorough knowledge of Basel II
regulatory requirements
-
Strong communication skills, both
written and verbal
-
Collaborative working style with
ability to build consensus
-
Experience in Process Design.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For Data
Management Q&P Project Manager
Job
-
Bachelors degree (or higher),
preferably in economics, finance or
business administration, plus 10
years of credit related experience
in the financial services industry
-
Green Belt or Black Belt certified
preferred.
