Job Summary:
The
Clinical Manager - Nursing will be
responsible for assisting the
departmental leader in managing and
directing activities for the provision
of care.

The
Clinical Manager - Nursing will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Provide direct professional care to
patients in his/her assigned area of
responsibility ranging in age from
newborn to geriatric following
established standards and practices
-
Support the mission statement,
policies and procedures of the
Company Health System
-
Work
collaboratively with patients,
families, visitors, nursing
personnel, physicians, staff of
other departments, and members of
the volunteer services
-
Serve
as the departmental on site manager
for daily operations.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Clinical Manager - Nursing Job
-
Three
years in acute care
-
Eye/hand/foot coordination,
finger/fine dexterity and be able to
handle/grip/squeeze and perform
repetitive activity and demonstrate
speed movement/velocity
-
Capable
of transferring-vertical/horizontal,
lifting/carrying greater than 35
pounds with assistance
Ability to push/pull, stoop/bend,
kneel, walk, sit, crouch/squat,
flex/position/twist, stand, hold,
restrain, and reach
Greater than 5 years experience
Supervisory experience.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Clinical Manager - Nursing
Job

Graduate of an accredited school of
nursing
-
Possession of current State License
for Registered Nurse
-
BLS required for all units-Obtained
through approved American Heart
Association Training Center or the
Military Training Network
-
ACLS/TNCC, PALS/ENPC, NRP,
S.T.A.B.L.E., Fetal Monitoring and
Non-Violent Crisis Intervention are
required within 1 year of date of
hire or transfer date into unit
based on RN job description for unit
department or specialty.
