The Acoustics Engineering Manager will be Acoustics Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the acoustic design, development and driving innovation into computer audio systems.

Job Description:

The Acoustics Engineering Manager will perform all or some of the following Job description:

• Transducer design, selection, and tuning with close interaction with the component suppliers

• Acoustic enclosure design and packaging

• Passive and active filter design

• DSP design and tuning for audio, noise suppression, etc.

• Design of products that use microphones, headphones/earphones, and speakers for computer audio systems

• Design and development of testing equipment and methods

• Simulation and modeling of acoustic systems and mechanical interactions with other modules within the product

• Manufacturing line bring-up, component validation, and manufacturing support

• Delivering new technology and innovations into every product - aspire to surprise and delight customers- BSEE, BSME or equivalent, preferably specializing in acoustics.

• 5+ years experience in the audio industry

• 5+ years experience in the design, prototyping and development of consumer audio systems

• Experience shipping high volume products

• Excellent knowledge of modern acoustic principles

• HATS setup, testing, and analysis

• Strong design, testing and data analysis skills

• Strong leadership / management skills / presentation skills.
