Job Summary:
The
Maintenance Worker will maintain the
physical facility, grounds and all
equipment in good working repair to
ensure a safe, attractive and enjoyable
living environment for the individuals
receiving services.Job
Description:
The
Maintenance Worker will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
The
Maintenance Worker will maintain ongoing
preventative maintenance program
-
Repair
and maintain kitchen, housekeeping, and
other mechanical equipment, including
heating and air conditioning units,
electrical and plumbing fixtures, and
laundry equipment
-
Inspect
and repair all damages to hallways,
walls, ceilings, floors, roofs, and
rooms
-
The
Maintenance Worker will paint and
refinish building surfaces
-
Order and
maintain necessary maintenance supplies
-
Provide
necessary maintenance of all tools and
equipment
-
The
Maintenance Worker will maintain fire
alarm system, including smoke and heat
detectors, fire pulls and fire
extinguishers
-
Maintain
sprinkler systems and assist with
quarterly inspections
-
The
Maintenance Worker will assist in
disaster plans as appropriate
-
Maintain
appliance motors, room exhaust fans/hood
suppression systems, pumps and
miscellaneous equipment on a monthly
basis or as recommended by the
manufacturer
-
The
Maintenance Worker will monitor and
assist in basic maintenance of facility
vehicles
-
Maintain
operational records, data and monitor
and enforce observance of safety
regulations
The
Maintenance Worker will
perform
other related duties and activities as
required.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Maintenance Worker Job

The
Maintenance Worker should have
one year related experience
-
Working
knowledge and ability to handle all
maintenance and electrical equipment.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Maintenance Worker Job

High
School diploma or equivalent
-
Current
contractor license as required by state.
