Maintenance Planner will serve as a
resource and a leader for production
team members, focusing on creating an
environment whereby each team member can
achieve the goals set forth in Total
Productive Manufacturing and Supply
Chain Management, resulting in the
highest customer/consumer value.Job
Description:
The
Maintenance Planner will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

The
Maintenance Planner will plan and
implement preventive and predictive
maintenance procedures on key
processing equipment
-
Work
with plant teams and maintenance
personnel in identifying and
planning work in the area
-
Plan
and identify work including ordering
of parts and planning the execution
of work
-
The
Maintenance Planner will coach and
develop area maintenance and other
personnel in preventive/predictive
maintenance principles and concepts
-
Coach
and develop maintenance employees in
personnel related matters
-
Maintain shop equipment
-
The
Maintenance Planner will develop,
maintain and administer safety
programs
-
Investigate and assign resources to
maintenance needs as required to
support operations
-
Ensure work is completed in a
satisfactory manner and ensure
employee performance in work
completed
-
The
Maintenance Planner will establish
and manage adherence to the
operating unit maintenance budgets
-
Understand and utilize Total
Productive Manufacturing (TPM)
concepts to drive continuous
improvement and finished product
conformance to requirements. Coach
and develop employee skills in these
areas
-
He/She will
maintain the Computerized
Maintenance Management System data
base (CHAMPS)
The
Maintenance Planner will
develop an understanding of
equipment and machinery operations
in order to serve as a resource to
team members for preventive
maintenance guidelines as well as
unanticipated machinery breakdowns
Perform REA/CEA management.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Maintenance Planner Job

The
Maintenance Planner should demonstrate
experience in implementing
preventive/predictive maintenance
systems
-
He/She
must have excellent organizational
skills to ensure ability to organize and
execute planning methods
-
The
Maintenance Planner should possess
strong leadership skills to ensure
ability to lead the technical resources
that will be under direct supervision,
as well as influence non-direct
personnel in key maintenance related
issues
-
Experienced in a team-oriented culture
in a Union environment
-
Possess
strong
communications skills
-
The
Maintenance Planner should have
evidence
of demonstrated skills in effective
empowerment of employees
-
He/She
should have
knowledge
of liquid blending and handling, grain
handling and variety of packaging
equipment for for liquid and dry
ingredients
-
The
Maintenance Planner should have
strong
project management skills
-
He/She
should have computer skills. (CHAMPS,
Excel & Word)
-
Experience working with pneumatic /
power / and electrical transmission and
fluid transfer systems a plus
-
Possess a
strong foundation in interpersonal
communication concepts, specifically,
written, oral, presentation, listening,
and facilitation skills, along with the
ability to lead team members, facilitate
change, foster innovation and results,
and manage all phases of a production
unit
-
The
Maintenance Planner should possess
knowledge
of Packaging and/or Processing equipment
a plus
-
He/She
should
demonstrate ability to utilize available
application computer programs in order
to facilitate the timely, accurate
interpretation, and reporting of
maintenance data
-
The
Maintenance Planner should
demonstrate ability to facilitate
project work with minimal coaching. This
will assure successful project
implementation and completions within
the parameters set forth.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Maintenance Planner Job

Maintenance Planner should have a
four (4) year college degree.
