Job Summary:
The
Maintenance Manager will be responsible
for managing the day-to-day operations
of the facility and asset management
program. He/She will manage the esthetic
features of the buildings, work
requests, and basic building finishes.Job

The
Maintenance Manager will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

The
Maintenance Manager will manage
facilities staff responsible for
maintenance of Company assets paint
shop, door shop, carpenters, grounds,
building exterior/envelope, roof,
elevators, and other systems
-
Schedule
staff normal duties and events/projects
planning
-
He/She will
perform
staff evaluations
The
Maintenance Manager will
provide
direction to staff in the maintaining of
assets
He/She
will
support
Facility Administrative Director’s goals
and objectives
Develop
system and equipment maintenance and
service requirements and methods
The
Maintenance Manager will
operate
systems and equipment to provide Company
environmental controls
Maximize
labor distribution and activities for
high productivity
Work with
other departments in meeting Company
goals
Be
on-call for systems and equipment
maintenance related issues.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Maintenance Manager Job

The
Maintenance Manager should have the
ability to develop root cause analysis
for failure events
-
Working
knowledge of codes, standards, and
regulations governing Hospitals
-
He/She
must have ability to document evidence
of compliance to standards
-
The
Maintenance Manager should have working
knowledge and ability with critical
hospital environments
-
He/She should have
working
knowledge of basic building systems such
as hardware, painting, etc.
-
Working
knowledge of asset management programs
-
He/She
should have
leadership qualities and good
communication skills
-
The
Maintenance Manager should have the
ability
to write clear and understandable
maintenance task procedures
-
Working
knowledge of Safety procedures
-
Experience in managing vendors and
outsourced relationships
-
Five
years of experience as a Maintenance
Manager or Maintenance Director.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Maintenance Manager Job
-
The
Maintenance Manager should possess
Bachelor’s degree or Journey level
expertise in one or more trades AND at
least five (5) years of experience in a
Hospital Environment with progressively
responsible supervisory or management
experience.
