Job Summary:
The
Maintenance Engineer will be
responsible for supporting plant-wide
manufacturing processes including
mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and
control systems. He/She will ensure that
all manufacturing and facility equipment
is being properly maintained.
The
Maintenance Engineer will design and
implement improvements to increase
efficiency, reduce costs, and improve
reliability. He/She will conduct
specialized and complex engineering work
in support of manufacturing and
maintenance activities; and perform
related work as required.Job
Description:
The
Maintenance Engineer will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

The
Maintenance Engineer will oversee the
development and enhancement of
predictive, preventive, and reliability
centered maintenance programs, including
maintenance check sheets, maintenance
logic decision trees, predictive
maintenance techniques and related
engineering analyses
-
Design
and implement modifications to existing
systems
-
Solicit
bids, select contractors, and coordinate
with maintenance and production as
required
-
The
Maintenance Engineer will ensure that
the project is completed within budget
and on schedule, ensuring that the
contractor follows all Company safety
requirements
-
Coordinate and supervise major
maintenance, emergency repairs, and
corrective actions on equipment and
facilities
-
The
Maintenance Engineer will maintain
necessary records and documentation,
preparing management reports as assigned
-
He/She will
coordinate and maintain plant
computerized maintenance systems (Flexnet)
The
Maintenance Engineer will
implement
and maintain computerized PLC and CNC
programs
He/She
may
perform other projects/duties as
assigned
Provide
maintenance supervision support as
needed
The
Maintenance Engineer will perform
continuous improvement of MES working
with ITD.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Maintenance Engineer Job

The
Maintenance Engineer should possess five
(5) years related experience
-
He/She should be
familiar
with risk assessments and safety
evaluation
-
Possess
the
ability
to manage multiple projects with the
flexibility to adapt to conflicting
requirements
-
He/She
should possess
knowledge
of city, state, and federal electrical
codes required
-
The
Maintenance Engineer should have
knowledge
of mechanical and safety codes
-
Familiar
with PLC programming and CNC programming
-
He/She
should
demonstrate ability to create and
interpret schematics and ladder diagrams
to effectively trouble shoot systems
-
The
Maintenance Engineer should possess
exceptional computer literacy.
Microsoft, SAP, Flexnet, and AutoCAD
desired
-
He/She
should have
hands-on
experience with equipment controls.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Maintenance Engineer Job

BS
Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Technical degree.
