Job
Description:
The
Facility Maintenance Supervisor will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Promote
and facilitate the advancement of
Company culture and core values through
customer service standards -
Ensure
that all assigned company facilities are
in good condition and state of repair -
Identify
and correct any potential facility
hazards -
Perform
routine building maintenance on assigned
facilities in centralized program -
Coordinate work with outside contractors
as required -
Coordinate work activity with Project
Manager and Technical Program Manager to
ensure maintenance tasks exceeding
capability of R & M worker are addressed -
Purchase
items necessary for performance of
duties with approval of the supervisor -
Actively
support QAI process -
Adopt
quality accountability -
Participate in quality training and
education for all technical staff -
Participate in the completion and
documentation of ongoing technical QAI
activities as appropriate -
Update
and provide management with feedback
regarding any improvement strategies
that may be implemented -
Perform
general carpentry as needed -
Perform
painting, wall-covering, and wall
repairs -
Perform
some facility plumbing maintenance and
repair -
Perform
light facility electrical work and
repair (only if licensed electrician) -
Perform
some drywall installation and repair -
Perform
some caulking and weather-stripping, and
floor repair -
Provide
pick-up and delivery of items that may
be required at different facilities -
Perform
other duties deemed appropriate and all
other duties as assigned -
Assist in
assuring the grounds are properly
maintained in a manner to prevent
personal injury -
Other
duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill

Recordkeeping

Ability
to maintain an accurate record of
expenses and savings as related to
completed work assignments and submit
monthly reports to the Technical
Operations Manager

Ability
to perform timely submittal of all
receipts to administrative personnel to
facilitate payment of invoices
-
Ability
to complete facility ER-1 s for work
performed within any given facility
-
Proven
verbal / written skills and basic
computer skills preferably in Microsoft
Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, and Power
Point
-
Experience in planning and
implementation / supervision of
construction projects a plus.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Facility Maintenance Supervisor Job

Associates degree or certificate in
building trades or equivalent
experience.
