Example: Maintenance Technician Job
Description
The
Maintenance Technician will perform all
or some of the following Job
description:
He/She
will perform HVAC, Electrical, plumbing,
water, air, steam, and/or other
production equipment tasks including
repair and/or replacement; troubleshoot
and maintenance of building utilities.
The
Maintenance Technician will maintain and
repair equipment used in a GMP
operations; perform HVAC tasks including
maintenance of filters, belts, pulleys
and troubleshooting control systems.
He/She
will perform general preventative
maintenance and repair on all types of
refrigeration and heating equipment;
operate automated control systems
including diagnostic, temperature
control and resolving related
maintenance requirements; install,
maintain, and repair series and multiple
lighting systems.
The
Maintenance Technician will perform
general diagnosis and repair of
equipment including but not limited to
GMP sterilizer and glass washer;
identify and record all preventative
maintenance requirements and document
all actions in accordance with company
Sop's and policy.
He/She
will ensure all equipment and functions
comply with safety requirements; comply
with all safety rules and practices;
call rotation schedule to respond to
emergency calls after normal working
hours; perform more complicated and/or
time-consuming maintenance tasks.
He/She
will make recommendations to the
Facilities Manager regarding needed
repairs; interpret and understand blue
prints and wiring diagrams.
The
Maintenance Technician will be
responsible for maintaining a
consistent, regular attendance record;
manage projects from scheduling to
startup and finish tasks; assist in
general facilities upkeep.
The
Maintenance Technician will oversee
nightly cleaning crew of classified and
unclassified areas. He/She will perform
other duties as directed by management.
