Job Summary:
The
Regional Human Resources Director will
serve as a strategic business partner
and will be responsible for the overall
management of the HR systems and
practices within an assigned region,
providing counsel on procedure and
policy interpretation; recruiting and
retention strategies and employee
relations issues, and Federal, state and
local employment laws. He/she will
operate with sufficient independence to
ensure objectivity and fairness for
employees while supporting the
organization's mission, vision and
values.Job
Description:
The
Regional Human Resources Director will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Consult
with business partners to align human
resources strategy and programs with the
organization's strategy while supporting
Organization's mission, vision and
values -
Manage
employee relations practices necessary
to maintaining a positive
employee-employer relationship and
promoting a high level of employee
commitment while maintaining an
environment free of third party
representation -
Investigate and resolve external and
internal charges / complaints of
harassment and/or discrimination -
Apply an
understanding of key legal precedents,
policies and practices to protect the
interests of Organization -
Collaborate with the legal and corporate
HR department, considering risk for the
organization and involving others as
appropriate -
Oversee
the region's recruitment and selection
practices to ensure the greatest number
of highly qualified candidates are
referred for each open position -
Ensure
interview and selection techniques are
in compliance with organization policies
and procedures, as well as applicable
laws and regulations -
Consult
with regional management on appropriate
organizational needs including talent
strategies, specific staffing needs,
management development programs and
training initiatives -
Review,
audit and approve salary transactions
according to applicable procedures -
Counsel
and advise management regarding salary
planning/compensation with regards to
internal equity, promotions,
reclassifications, transfers -
Effectively lead organization wide human
resources strategic initiatives while
balancing the needs of the region -
Lead and
develop the regional human resources
team.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
For Regional Human Resources Director Job
-
Five
years of progressive human resources
experience with a strong background
in employment and selection,
training, organization development,
compensation, employee relations and
employment law
-
One
year of management experience
-
Commitment

Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Regional Human Resources Director Job
Bachelor's degree in human resources
management, business administration
or related field
PHR
or SPHR is preferred, or must be
obtained within first year of
employment.
