Part Time Human Resources Generalist Job Description

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Part Time Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for Responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources department.      

Job Description:

The Part Time Human Resources Generalist will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Maintain files, records and databases

  • Process various personnel-related forms

  • Provide information and answer inquires for employees

  • Ensure paperwork and changes are in compliance with company policy, including benefits, safety program and general personnel changes

  • Assist in coordinating interviews, prescreening applicants, sending out recruiting packages and other recruiting activities

  • Compile new employee orientation files, and perform new employee orientations

  • Prepare exit interview documentation

  • Process benefit changes in accordance with law and company policy

  • Act as a liaison between employees and payroll

  • Provide administrative support to other functional departments as needed. 

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Part Time Human Resources Generalist Job

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Access, Excel
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required to professionally and courteously interact with co-workers, visitors, applicants and customers
  • Ability to multi-task essential
  • Strong work ethic, good organizational abilities and excellent communication skills
  • 3-5 years HR experience and ability to work 20 hours per week.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Part Time Human Resources Generalist Job

  • Associate's degree.
