Job Summary:
The
Manager Plant Human Resources
will be responsible for managing the
complete Human Resources function for
the Company. He/She will be reporting to
the corporate HR Director with matrixed
accountability to the local Plant
Manager.
The Plant
Human Resources Manager will supervise a
staff of HR Generalists and HR
Specialists and will be the key plant
resource responsible for helping the
plant team recruit, retain, develop, and
keep full engagement of all people.
He/She will oversea all aspects of the
HR function at the plant level.
The Plant
Human Resources Manager will be
accountable for direction, management,
and financial success of the HR function
at the Company's Plant by establishing
and achieving current and long range
objectives, plans and policies.
Job
Description:
The
Manager Plant Human Resources will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Administer the collective bargaining
agreement and participate in contract
negotiations -
Help
develop and administer AAP -
Lead
development, implementation, and audit
of all HR policies and procedures -
Manage
regulatory compliance, social
accountability audits, and lead
investigations of complaints involving
alleged harassment or discriminations -
Manage HR
budget and work with plant management to
assist in managing people spending, i.e.
over-time, headcount control,
utilization of temporary workers,
worker’s compensation, etc. -
Lead
assessment and planning for internal
training and development -
Monitor
employee attitudes, lead culture
assessments and action planning to close
the gaps -
Provide
advice and counsel to plant management
team regarding performance management
and development of human capital.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
For Manager Plant Human Resources Job
-
5-7
years of HR experience with a
minimum of 2 years in a management
role
-
Previous manufacturing/plant
experience (24 hour operation
facility) preferred
-
Experience with labor relations
preferred
-
Strong communication (written and
verbal) and presentations skills
-
Knowledge of HRMS and Microsoft
Office products.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For

BS/BA degree required (major in HR
preferred).
