Human Resources Professional - Recruiter Job Description

 

 

 

Job Description:

The Human Resources Professional - Recruiter will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Provide service delivery and support in recruitment and employment, new business, employee reassignment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, organization development, training, AA/EEO, and special projects to fully leverage human capital

  • Assist in the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures and their dissemination through employee booklets, communications, and/or meetings

  • Prepare reports in conformance with legislated requirements or organizational needs to provide appropriate parties with necessary human resources information

  • Act as a liaison between employees and/or managers and the organization by interpreting personnel policies and procedures and resolving employee concerns

  • Process necessary paperwork for new hires, benefits enrollment, terminations, etc to ensure timely and accurate coverage and cancellations

  • Work with business units to ensure receipt of information

  • Enter and maintain employee information in HRIS systems to ensure that employee documentation is current

  • Research and consolidate information required for analysis of human resources operations and prepare special projects as assigned

  • Provide strategic and/or operational consultation on and coordination of core human resources functions to enhance organizational effectiveness.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Human Resources Professional - Recruiter Job

  • Two or more years of human resources experience
  • Experience working with human resources principles, practices and procedures
  • Experience working with corporate and legal employment-related policies
  • Experience working with human resources information systems (HRIS)
  • Prior recruiting experience
  • Organization skills to balance and prioritize work
  • Interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
  • Communication skills
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Personal computer and business solutions software skills
  • Ability to identify, understand and apply federal, state and local changes to and/or new regulations/laws pertaining to human resources
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to understand and apply federal, state and local changes to and/or new regulations/laws pertaining to human resources.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Human Resources Professional - Recruiter Job

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
