Human Resources Leader Product Engineering Center Job Description

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Leader Product Engineering Center will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment. He/She will utilize experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.

Job Description:

The Human Resources Leader Product Engineering Center will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Provide advice and counsel to management and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures, and practices

  • Lead client organizations in the development of the annual reviews, organization structure development, job design, staffing, compensation, and organization change / effectiveness

  • Partner with business leaders on multiple human resource issues (policies, legislation, processes, and practices)

  • Evaluate and develop personnel, annual reviews, and compensation plans

  • Implement process improvement (Six Sigma / Lean), including leading change initiatives, planning, and facilitation; staffing and pipeline development

  • Provide leadership for the development and execution of organization vision and structure, including development and execution of a communication plan to ensure that effective two-way communication takes place

  • Assure that appropriate training opportunities are provided to employees to further personal, career, and organizational development
    Investigate and provide counsel / advice regarding concerns about contractual issues (when applicable)

  • Work with leaders and employees to establish and maintain a positive work environment, which encourages the full use of diverse talents and abilities; act as an employee advocate; help drive various corporate and division business initiatives

  • Identify recruiting needs, develop sources of qualified candidates; facilitate screening, testing and selection of applicants with management

  • Drive HR processes such as e-HR dashboard, annual HR review (Session C), organizational effectiveness and performance management

  • Responsible for investigations, conflict resolution, employee communications and management coaching.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Human Resources Leader Product Engineering Center Job

  • 3 additional years of experience as a human resources generalist
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Human Resources Leader Product Engineering Center Job

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college (or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a human resources position)
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources (MHR, MILR, MBA)
  • Human Resources Leadership Program (HRLP) Graduate (internal).
