Job Summary:
The Human
Resources (HR) Intern will report to the
Recruiting Manager and support the
Shared Services recruiting team. He/She
will work with and learn all aspects of
recruiting including but not limited to;
creating requisitions, sourcing,
screening, interview logistics,
background checks, etc.
Job
Description:
The
Human Resources (HR) Intern will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Schedule
phone interviews, on-site interviews,
and coordinate travel for remote
candidates -
Assist
recruiters with screening applicant's
skills as they relate to our open
positions -
Perform
background, education, and reference
checks on candidates -
Maintain
internal applicant tracking system by
ensuring candidates are moved
appropriately in requisitions and the
pertinent data is being tracked -
Assist
with the campus recruiting program -
Source
for prospective candidates utilizing
various methods including internet job
boards, alumni networks, networking,
direct sourcing through linkedin,
peopleclick, sourcepoint, etc. -
Run
weekly and monthly recruiting reports
and dashboards.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill

Excel

excellent communication skills and a

Degree in Human Resources or
Business, or must be enrolled in a
college program in pursuit of a
Human Resources or Business degree.
