Job Summary:
The Human
Resources Generalist – Physician
Services will
collaborate with management on
day-to-day operations support (all
employees) in the areas of employee
relations, benefits administration, wage
and salary administration, and employee
orientation and on-boarding. In addition
he/she will serve to implement and
communicate human resource strategies
and programs.
The Human

effective healthcare to support

and improvement of human life.
Job
Description:
The
Human Resources Generalist – Physician
Services will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
Consult
with managers and staff regarding
employee relations, performance
improvement, corrective counseling and
other human resources issues as needed
Facilitate resolution of employee
grievances; provide needs assessment;
develop and deliver training programs
Assist in
the development, refinement, and
application of personnel and
compensation policies and procedures
Investigate and represent Organization
at unemployment compensation hearings
and EEOC investigations
Assist in
planning and coordinating employee
recognition and social events
Assist
with region-wide communications efforts
Analyze
and review discipline records and
grievance activity
Develop
action plans in response to feedback
from various employee surveys
Assist in
evaluation of reports, and results of
the department in relation to
established goals
Recommend
new approaches, policies, and procedures
to effect continual improvements in
efficiency of operations
Plan and
conduct staff and management development
training programs, including conducting
needs assessment, preparation of program
objectives, development of course
materials and training aids, delivering
workshops and evaluating program
effectiveness; colludes with Education
Department as necessary
Coordinate benefits functions for Shared
Services entities
Administer pay systems and programs for
Shared Services entities
Conduct
job evaluations using point factor
analysis, market pricing or ranking
method.

Relations, Benefits, Compensation,
HRIS and HR Metrics, Performance
Management and Organizational
Development
Customer orientation - establishes

Interpersonal skills - able to
practice effective relationship
management and work effectively with
other employees, supervisors and
external parties
PC
skills - demonstrates proficiency in
Microsoft Office applications
(specifically, Word, Excel, and
PowerPoint) and others (i.e. HRIS,
electronic recruitment systems) as
required
Policies & Procedures - demonstrates
knowledge and understanding of
organizational policies, procedures
and systems

years progressively responsible
experience in Human Resources,
preferably in healthcare or a shared
services business environment.
