Human Resources Business Partner Job Description

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible for directly supporting the manufacturing plant manager and team.

Job Description:

The Human Resources Business Partner will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Provide support to business areas to facilitate meeting business objectives

  • Provide guidance and direction on all aspects of Talent Management including Staffing, Performance Management and Employee Relations

  • Provide coaching to management on Compensation, Organizational Development, and Employee Development

  • Provide counsel to management in developing and implementing employee engagement plans to promote positive employee relations

  • Build and maintain effective working relations with management and employees to provide advice and counsel to both on employee-related and organizational matters

  • Perform project management duties and team facilitation.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Human Resources Business Partner Job

  • 10 years of Human Resources experience with increasing scope and complex responsibilities to include employee relations, engagement, communications, talent acquisition and employee development
  • 2 years required in high volume manufacturing/production environment
  • 5 years experience in conducting internal investigations and handling sensitive Employee Relations matters
  • Experience in union avoidance strategies desirable
  • Excellent teamwork, communications and project leadership skills
  • Solid business acumen and demonstrated ability to contribute as a business partner to achieve business results
  • Demonstrated track record of building trust and delivering results
  • Demonstrated success as business partner, strong initiative and ability to operate independently
  • Experience in union avoidance strategies desirable
  • Ability to handle multiple deadlines, work autonomously and rapidly adjust to changing priorities
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and interface with employees at all levels
  • Ability to effectively multi-task with focus on action, improvement and results orientation.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Human Resources Business Partner Job

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or Management with concentration in HR or equivalent degree – Master’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or equivalent preferred.
