Human Resources Analyst I Job Description

 

 

 

Job Description:

The Human Resources Analyst I will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Conduct job analysis

  • Develop and implement recruitment plans and selection instruments

  • Conduct classification studies and make recommendations on organizational realignments, salaries, classification specifications, and position allocation

  • Administer employee benefit plans

  • Develop benefit materials and communications

  • Interpret and research legislation

  • Respond to complaints and conduct investigations related to EEO compliance.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Human Resources Analyst I Job

  • Two years of full-time professional level human resources experience in a public sector environment performing essential functions in one or more of the following: recruitment, selection, classification, benefits administration, and/or EEO
  • Exceptional research and communication skills with the ability to clearly and appropriately convey information and ideas both verbally and in writing to all levels of management, staff, and to the public with a strong customer service focus
  • Experience with project management software experience is a plus for the current vacancy
  • One (1) year of experience as a Human Resources Analyst with experience in: Benefits Administration, Recruitment and Selection, Classification, Equal Employment Opportunity, and/or Employee Relations.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Human Resources Analyst I Job

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral Science, Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, Statistics, or a closely related field.
